  1. Around a month or so ago they were still at Dreamworld in their shed awaiting whatever their future has in store for them.
  2. Those wait times seem about normal for a major US park, if anything would say some of them are actually quite good.
  3. Mostly play games on PC but I also have an XBOX 360s, Wii and PS3 that are currently being neglected. As for which games I have maybe sharing usernames and gamertags would be easier as over 200 games on XBOX and PC make it too many to list. Will say though I am also looking forward to GTA V being released on the platform it belongs on (PC)!
  4. Only been to parks in Australia and mostly the majors on the east coast. Wonderland Movie World Sea World Dreamworld Wet'n'Wild White Water World Plus a heap of other minor parks around Brisbane, Sydney and in between.
  5. No problems here either, using SwiftKey on an S5. If you are a fan of swype then I suggest giving it a go reanimated.
  6. The idea of fingerprint to access lockers is a good one but I like the idea of paying with a method other than cash more. I rarely carry cash so that is the biggest inconvenience for me when it comes to locker hire at one of the parks. They aren't going anywhere so any way of making them easier and quicker to use is something I approve of.
  7. You want a cheap hot dog? Go to IKEA or Costco. Can't blame the theme parks for charging what they do when they have to make money somehow.
  8. Last check the Harry Potter store is now just a generic store.
  9. To put any speculation as to the location of Thunderbolt in relation to WhiteWater World and the AVPX Tented area to rest here is a quick photoshop overlay of Thunderbolt over the park at 10/11/12 Getting back on topic the expansion for WhiteWater World was approved by the GCCC this will however more than likely involve the movement of the laser tag area due to it encroaching on it. It just seems really weird to have something gone to all the effort of being lodged with council, amended, approved then nothing happen. Can safely say the park is needing something new to attract guests as Aqualoop and Constrictor are two good reasons for going to Wet'n'Wild over WhiteWater.
  10. Oh but this time they are saying hail can be expected. I will be surprised when I see it!
  11. Because the Tower of Terror holding it from January 1997 then joint holding it with its SFMM counterpart from March 1997 until December 2001 never counted as us holding the record for worlds fastest coaster for a long period of time... The biggest problem with worlds fastest is either a boring layout or a launch straight into brakes making the extra speed somewhat pointless. There is also another potential issue in the wheels over heating especially with the weather.
  12. The main difference between Viper and Cyclone is Viper can manage to find its parking spot first go something that Cyclone likes to take its time doing. You can almost re-load viper and dispatch in the time it takes to park Cyclone. In order for a second train to be viable on Cyclone they need queues for it. Went Sunday of the recent long weekend and it was almost walk on.
  13. Depends on what you call walking distance. It is around a 5-6km walk to most of the nearby stations on Google Maps.
  14. Buzzsaw at Dreamworld is also rated at 600 pph so I think Adventure World will be fine with being able to manage crowds for Abyss.
  15. This looks the be an example the opposite of what has been seen on the Gold Coast recently. Good ride with minimal theming (Lantern) or a average at best ride with really good theming (Sorebuzz). They look to be doing both theming and ride good with this coaster so as mentioned by Jobe lets hope the eastern parks take notice.
  16. Mostly likely outcome although there really hasn't been anything said about their fate.
  17. Melbourne Star doesn't look too far off being done. Didn't know about Wonderland Docklands ride line up until after visiting on Monday. Would head back that way but don't have time to do so before departing on Sunday. Would have also liked to have made the trip the St. Kilda to do Luna Park but unable to due to time constraints.
  18. I won't be, too busy with sporting commitments and fly back to Queensland on Sunday morning.
  19. A mobile site loaded on my Galaxy S3 last night which worked without issue and was still easy to navigate around.
  20. I love how Adventure World are actually building this. Ardent Leisure should take note.
  21. Whilst on the topic of new things being detrimental to old things I am sure Australia Zoo and Underwater World on the Sunshine Coast are both doing poorly of late thanks to the additions at Aussie World!
  22. Somewhat sure the park offers a pass out that allows you re-entry to the park.
  23. Don't think you are the only one Joz looking at making the trip to Perth to ride it from the east coast. Great to see Adventure World showing that parks outside of the Village Roadshow chain are able to build a coaster worth the trip to ride.
