  1. Whilst a 4D Free Fly would be nice wonder how a ride of that height will go given the park seems to suffer from height restrictions for rides in the past (eg Sea World Eye). Both Corkscrew and Storm are 28m tall and the 4D is 37m. Will this extra 9m in height cause an issue with the park and those nearby.
  2. Given the current skyline of our parks anything over 200 feet will be visually pleasing. Can see it being around 225 feet at the most but more likely closer to 200 feet.
  3. Can't really see the property investors being as much of an issue here as the case with Wonderland. For starters the area is not exactly already somewhat built up. There also isn't the whole interchange of two major motorways next to the park.
  4. Will find that it is due to where the two halves of the platforms meet. As someone who is 180cm when doing the filming for the TVC I was seated in the middle seats and told to lift my legs/feet up before they would return the platform back to unload position.
  5. Sad to say but I don't expect anything less from that paper. They seem to put anything on the front page that will get them attention/sales. One reason why I refuse to buy it.
  6. Are they place names or things from your browser search history @reanimated35?
  7. Found "Woody Point" quite amusing myself. Surprised with all those Knob places Bald Knob wasn't mentioned.
  8. And what happens if you go down the slide without any clothing face down!
  9. Would seem so, guess this means it is no longer dead but it is now a zombie.
  10. Park shirts and attire doesn't exactly mean enthusiasts. I saw someone at Blacktown station in January wearing a Sea World shirt so clearly they too must be a park enthusiast by this logic.
  11. Think your first mistake was reading comments on a YouTube video.
  12. Michelangelo is mine but that should be kinda obvious to some of you.
  13. All this talk of a second station for VR (which won't happen) or separate queues is pointless when comparing to other rides that offer VR free, in this case Revolution. The ride is listed as 1400 pph before VR was added. It would now be struggling to get 400 pph and that's with two trains. There is no way to speed up the loading as mentioned you can't pre-load the VR, compare it to Arkham all you want but that ride is VR optional and already low capacity so the VR has not had the negative impact that a high capacity ride like Revolution has had. The park only needs one VR coaster experience and it should be left with Arkham as being it.
  14. You just have to look at a ride like Fury 325, voted in the Amusement Today Golden Ticket Awards as the number 1 steel coaster this year and the station it has. It is basic and does the job it needs to, the ride itself however makes up for the minimal approach to the station. So long as the ride itself is solid I have no issue with a Fury 325 or even another Green Lantern type of setup for the station and themeing.
  15. Anyone who has access to Hulu you can also find seasons 1-4 on there.
  16. Looking at that website and wondering why our smaller parks have a proper chair swing type ride and Dreamworld has the most basic option available. Something that doesn't really make much sense.
  17. Reminds me a lot of the store at Downtown Disney in Anaheim.
  18. Seems like the right place to put this, spent part of today at Wet'n'Wild Sydney and enjoyed it as per usual. Pros - the Tap'n'Play system is quite easy to use and looks to cater for groups. Didn't use it as most slides were walk on - if you are a fan of the food at Dirty Harry's at Movie World then you will like they have basically copied the menu and serve it at the surf club. Staff were even sampling food to attract customers - Dinosaurs aren't as bad as made out to be and they have a show numerous times through the day - 2/3 of the lazy river is open (the other 1/3 doesn't seem worth worrying about missing) Cons - new myband is smallish and had mine fall off once during my visit (towel may have assisted that) - Sydney weather is still being average. Not sure if it is due to the food trucks but noticed there didn't seem to be anyone monitoring payment of parking so it could possibly be free at the moment. I will say the park isn't perfect and no park is but can see they are making an effort to try and fix things. Getting what's essentially basic level "Ride Express" at Dreamworld for free is a good move and will make busy days a bit more tolerable. Same goes for the higher quality food options.
  19. Think I am not the only one with this viewpoint
  20. According to the website $149.99 and I am going to assume some form of booking fee applied to that.
  21. Have to agree with one of the comments " That seems... weird. "
  22. Shop was open and the gate was closed forcing you to go through the shop, can swear I've seen something like that somewhere else before.
  23. If they were the ones on sale when leaving the park they are $20 each.
