Mick Doohan Motocoaster construction discussion
NatDog replied to AugustVonPolen's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Hasn't DW only allocated about 6 mill for the year? If this is the case then can we assume that it won't be a big ride with inversions etc due to the small budget? -
Noticed that RCDB.com don't have anything regarding Batwing on their database.
-
When is one of our parks going to be the first to commit to a B&M???
-
I did about three-quarters of the layout during it's construction but haven't completely fininshed it.
-
Off topic here, Thats an interesting avatar you have there Gazza. What coaster is it? Never seen it before.
-
Not everyone lives near the Gold Coast or in QLD & people do infact work so saying it's a pretty poor effort is poor in itself.
-
Good pics?? You mean what pics!
-
Saw a post earlier regarding video footage, would be fantastic if someone could put together something on video.

Calm down mate, no need to bite. -
Whats with the "MRT" logo on the sides of the carriages and at the very front? Just noticed it from the pics rcdb.com have posted of the coaster in action. http://www.rcdb.com/ig2999.htm?picture=13

Hands down, without a doubt SE.
-
Did anyone see channel nine's Today show this morning? They were broadcasting some of it from Movieworld, I only saw 15-20 mins of it as was wondering if anyone else saw it and if there were any glimpse's of SE?
-
Anyone able to get some sort of video footage of testing?
-
Same here, I'm wasn't a big fan of Storm Runner's trains and was hoping that they weren't going to be like them but alas they are exactly the same. Yellow just doesn't sit right with the overall theming of the ride.
-
Agreed all, very cheesy indeed. Doesn't give much away regarding the actual ride. Dissappointing.
-
Mate, this is a pathetic thread. Where do you come up with all these "rumours"??? Do you make them up yourself??? It's not right to go around saying this and that about rides or parks and posting on here before you get concrete proof. Hopeless.
-
Mate, not another one of your rumours????? The last one you posted regarding the slingshot was hopeless.
-
Your an idiot mate (kyle)
-
here, here, apart from the layout, whathas changed???
-
How steep is the brake-run? I wasn't expecting to be that steep, also the layout into the brake-run is quite interesting.
-
I posted the video's for those who don't have the simulation. What "two tube track" are you talking about? Also, we know that the indoor banked section is going over the top of the launch track, is any of the que line going to be underneath the overbank? (this would be fantastic) Or is the theming before the launch going to take up the whole building?.
-
Yup, the building overbank looks fantastic. I'm not too sure what the exact layout is after the second camel hump so I had to improvise a bit and use Liams pic.
-
Heya Liam, I've used Fraps to record video: web.aanet.com.au/natdog
-
And since the accident on Ride of Steel at SFNE.
-
Going on pics and also Liam's design above, this is what I've done in No Limits, just some basic screenshots. I haven't done the supports for the top-hat as yet. If anyone knows how to take a video from the simulation, please let me know [a ttachment=42:attachment]
