  1. Although I still reckon their info is still interesting anyway, I liked the old layout better...
  2. So, the date seems to be confirmed, but which day did you actually go, as in Sunday, Monday etc. I loved your report, and I cant wait till someday, I get to go over there. Has Flashback ever operated thios year, or is it just sitting there, or didnt you mention it because you didnt ride it?
  3. Of course I didnt mean for the B&M coaster I wish for just to occupy that small (which is reportedly large) I meant for it to wind around the back of the Nara resort perhaps, and maybe up the other side of the park, past the seal ride...
  4. Hopefully they'll stick in an entrance for a Kraken style ride there... Cant you see Im aching for a B&M in Aus?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
  5. Hmmm, you just had to burst our bubble didnt you Obstructure! I like the idea of the Vekoma style lie down gondolas.
  6. Or perhaps, what you would do with the basic landscape of an exisiting theme park! thats what I did with Magic Moutain on RCT2, I guess its fun enough. I did a bunch of others but they weren't based on real ones landscapes, so suffice to say, no need to mention them here.
  7. May I ask, if you can control the rides within the game? I mean, it wouldnt be much of a game if you couldn't
  8. *beep* $2700 an hour, Whoa, thats hefty. Back on the subject that I didnt get a chance to respond to, I like the idea of launching backwards out of the station except wouldnt there be a problem with, uh, foward whiplash, as in you'd be thrown out of your seat instead of pushed against it...
  9. Indeed, nice recreation, I couldnt have done it better myself. Excellent. I cant wait to get my hands on this one, fine tuning Dreamworld = fun!
  10. It seems pointless to have it called Movie Park with no movies behind it, although, if they could get the rights from Buena Vista, Id love to see an 'Air Force One' ride. "Get off my plane", and then a HUGE vertical drop!
  11. My favourite part, At Luna Park, had to be the first mini drop, before the big drop which gave you awesome harbour views. Also the loop was good, cause it was crammed in there, in a corner kinda alley.
  12. I'm sure, that if I were the mayor of the Gold Coast, Surfers Paradise, whatever you call it, Id give a bit of permission for a ride similar to that of Kraken, in Seaworld Orlando. Surely, as someone mentioned above said, fill it up with sand, put the entrance in some place then let it glide around, with a couple of inversions scattered here and there around the park. Of course the rest of the coaster would be best to keep low, but you know, I thought it was a good idea...
  13. I have a single photo of the Big Dipper taken from atop the Ferris Wheel, it was taken on its last days before being dismantled and taken away to Dreamworld. Of course its still in one piece. But there is a problem, I dont have a scanner, so when I get one, Scoot, I'll send it right over to you.
  14. Nice review, I reckon you were a bit harsh on Knotts, but I've never been there, so what would I know. Good one anyway.
  15. Looking good, the spin is a bit slow, but god dammit its gonna be one nice attraction to Dreamworld thats for sure.
  16. So, Richard, I didnt quite get the gist of all youe explanation, can you dumb it downn a bit, cause I found it rather interesting.
  17. Well seeing as Im new, I doubt I'll bother, but Im reckoning that maybe...they'll, er launch it 5 kms faster? nah that sounds dumb. Perhaps they're relocating the entrance? that sounds relatively ok...and doing it all up as well?
  18. Some dude said: now I'm afraid i'm going to have to be King to your JR and disagree with you there in a way.. I think in terms of speed and fluidity of the graphics, playstation wins. OMG! Idiot, if you compare two games that were produced at any one time in either consoles 'career' then you'd see the N64 comes out way on top Heres a better comparison: Gex & Banjo Kazooie. Need I say which is better in terms of graphics. Obviously Banjo Kazooie. The playstations maximum frame rate was about 30fps with a low resolution and hardly anything on screen, if you put Banjo Kazooie or perhaps DK64 on a playstation, you'd be playing at about 5 fps. This is a great way to show how inefficient and crap the Playstation was. Unfortunately they gained the upper hand by mass marketing and having a huge library of mostly garbage third party games...
  19. Ha Ha, CHOP! Yeah, I'd like to know of this 'brilliant' information, sounds intriguing...
  20. An interesting point is that Nintendo got Sony into the market, as they were being paid to built an add on for the Super Nintendo. Nintendo didnt like them, so they cancelled the deal in what should go down as one of the worst business decisions of all time, firing Sony. As you all know, they went on to produce the Toyota of all cars (reasonable quality, nothing special but a hell of a lot of em) and now have the biggest market share of gaming, followed closely by PC.
  21. Uuuuuuuuh, lets avoid confrontation shall we. I'd love some of them photos from Wonderland <_< >_> <_< Especially of Fred Flinstone Splashdown, I remember that ride...remotely.
  22. Excellent, any closure on the other two points?
  23. Yeah, and they stuffed up your file for good if you saved it, as in you cant repeal some of them (PC wise, as in the riot cheat and the weapons for civilians cheat)
  24. Its rather interesting for 3 reasons 1.Whats already been mentioned, the supports being built first, this means that there will hopefully be animation in building the roller coaster 2. The shadow looks as if the track has already been put into place, either its something wrong with the beta code, or its an invisible roller coaster 3.The track layout judging by the shadow looks rather interesting, hopefully this means that the layout wont be limited to merely straight track, curves and special features, it will have a completely free coaster desgin tool.
  25. I'd also like to add that the Demon was quite a noisy little roller coaster when it came through the station. Not that loud noise is bad.
