  1. So with the new Wiggles line up coming in 2013 will we see Dreamworld update the Wiggles area? Anyone know if they changed the videos when Sam took over from Anthony for a while?
  2. Big coasters like that have never really interested me hey... I like a good storyline and an immersive experience. That's just me though. I'm looking forward to seeing cars land completed, and Im also looking forward to the Harry potter expansion
  3. Yea.. I didn't realise that either. Like you, I don't think the interest will waiver to much. I mean look at the popularity of Water World, based on a fairly pool movie (by general standards - I loved it though) and its still an amazing crowd drawing stunt show. I think the calibre of the attraction will outlive the interest in the movies.
  4. It was a Long time ago and it wasn't really a trip. More like a meet up at a park. Spoke to the parks and it wasn't going to be feasible at that stage. An official event at a local park would just cost to much , and with the cheap VIP passes what was on offer and what we were able to wring out of the parks was not cost effective. Also, do I really want to spend time with some of you guys? (bahaha) A meet up at a park is achievable but with no real perks. Also i think from the boards inception, people have tried to organise meet ups that not many people have shown interest in. Nate
  5. Just when I thought I'd need to save my monies and go to Orlando, Universal have confirmed that Harry Potter is coming to Japan! Can't wait to check this out. Flights to Japan are so cheap and might hit up Universal Singapore while im in the area as well. about 18 months to wait!
  6. The part in the post about the ice cream man was a joke. Just clearing that up
  7. So with the day off I decided to head to Dreamworld and check out the new DreamWorks Experience and just have a general visit. I decided to grab a Qbot for the first time and it totally changed my experience in the park. I don't think I will ever be able to visit during a busy day without hiring a Qbot. It works so easily and it does free up a lot of time. Arriving to a couple rides 15 minutes earlier than my allotted time was ok as well. The staff working were happy to cancel my reservation so I could book my next ride. So I did not have to queue for a thing all day! DreamWorks Experience does look amazing. The area has been transformed Nd Dreamworld have done an amazing job. The new show in the area was quite good as well and I think Deeamworld have a great new area on their hands. I did ask the guy in the ice cream parlour about big brother and he told me this year the house is an underground bunker! Big news! The other big news this past while are the Bengal Tiger Cubs which are beautiful. The area set up for them is really great and you feel like you could just reach out and touch them. I noticed that you can book in the are slime V8 cars for 6pm after the park shuts so this might be an indication of why people were in the park after closing when that fight broke out. I know you can also do animal adventures after 5 as well. I headed over to White Water World for lunch and had the foulest tasting lunch I've ever had in my life, so that was the only disappointing thing of the day. But it was soon happy times again as I am now under the weight limit to go on the slides and a hot euro was following around the park so that was fun bahaha Ok so that was my day. TOT2 was running well. Had my first ride on Buzzsaw and it was a lot better than I was expecting. Giant Drop is not included on the Qbot which was weird, and I do like how they send little updates on show times and ride openings. The park is looking clean and the staff were friendly. It was a good day at dreAmworld. It was a whole day experience when I chucked in www and look forward to my next visit.
  8. I guess they could focus on sea dinosaurs.... Evidence does show that the majority of dinos (including trex) could swim
  9. Dino land is at seaworld... Not owned by ardent. Unless u mean the attraction at seaworld won't bring the crowds in and they will flock to dw instead.. Dreamworld have the new dreamworks area, and seaworlds offering is spongebob parade, Dora show and dinosaurs... Ardent appear to be blaming wet weather on poor attendance...
  10. They probably found an exhibit that was finishing somewhere else and decided to put it in as a cheap holiday filler.

  15. Yes it does look like dinosaurs now... Interesting move for Seaworld, can't wait to see what they have come up with!
  16. I've never read much about legoland, and I didn't realise merlin owned quite as many sites in Sydney! I hope that the a legoland rumours are true
  17. DreamWorks is a good fit for Dreamworld. I'm glad they spent the money to make this part of the park look great!
