Funny, when I was there a few weeks back a staff member in the line told me it would be kept the same. It's as if Park Staff don't know themselves, or just aren't allowed to say.

That's not great news I just booked a Trip up to the parks for next month, Hopefully it's up and running with Wipeout by then! But realistically we should at least wait till Monday before we jump to any conclusions.

Excuse my ignorance and lack of knowledge on the subject, but isn't that an argument for the activists? Their argument is that these animals are meant to live in the wild no? Obviously they can't really return to the ocean now. But their argument is they (and their parents) never should have been captive in the first place. Regardless of how well they are treated. IMO we will be waiting till after New Years, probably February for the (full) announcement. They're heading into the biggest time of year so once the Christmas/New Years holidays come to a close and numbers start dying down again. Easy advertising. I this Alex is right, use the JL area as the exit and SE area for entrance. If they're doing work behind SE maybe we could have another queue area done up well with theming like Arkham Asylum? Although it's wayy to early for construction on a queue line to start so it's probably just wishful thinking. Either way they will need something to look at while walking toward the ride.

I think the Memorial will have it's own opening when it's ready. I don't think it would be ready that quick. From what they've said it sounds like they want to do a proper, respectful memorial.

I doubt the GP would even know/care what a hyper coaster is, especially once it's close to completion. The sheer height of it will make enough noise. A couple of feet isn't gonna change that. In saying that, it would be pretty silly to not add a few more feet to the first drop and get those bragging rights. Either way i'm pretty excited to finally be able to ride a coaster of these proportions. When do you think we will get an announcement? I'd say before the end of the year.

I think I recall it happening last year when i went, nothing new. But pretty frustrating regardless.
