  1. Ok remember that this is the 'Village to buy Aussie World' thread not Adventura water park which is the one to be built in Caloundra. But anyway it doesn't really matter. One thing to keep in mind is while the one destined to be built in Caloundra is costing $110 million dollars and the one at Aussie world $70 million the one at Aussieworld will be bigger. The 110 million dollar price tag for Adventura doesn't just include a water park, it also will have tennis courts, mini golf and other sorts of recreational facilities thus it costing more. I just desperately hope the council doesn't turn down WVTP's request as I am sure they will deliver the far superior product. Huh
  2. Why do you say this, he made a post on the 20th, 2 on the 19th plus he made one a few minutes after you posted this. Where do you get the idea that he is missing, sorry if I mis interpreted. BTW Doc Brown was banned, so was batman and Wycenerious, no idea. Cheers,
  3. Haha what a joke, it amuses me every time I see that. I wonder from those who rode it back in it's opening years, was it smoother and quieter than it is now. Yeah it must have seemed like a good purchase, reasonable price, good layout and five inversions. Now remember this ride was built 13 years ago so to have 5 inversions would have been quite impressive and something to promote the park on.
  4. Nah if it was only going to have the layout of Oblivion I'd take my money and put it elsewhere. Although the general public aren't likely to know what a B&M is I am sure the ride would get rave reviews about smoothness. Isn't that the company who built Thunderbolt?
  5. How about a dive machine a little bigger than SheiKra making it the tallest and fastest in the world. It would be the fastest ride at MW as it goes already goes 70mph without the hight increase. In the extensions I would like to see an extra inversion or 2 to make the ride longer and more exciting. Best of all it is MW's price range costing 13.5 million and with the extensions probably about 15 or 16 million still within MW price range. I think this is a unique attraction and definitely something that would deliver a great ride. Has anyone here ridden SheiKra, what did you think? http://www.rcdb.com/id2662.htm
  6. Thanks Thrust, Can you post up the plans. I hope this coaster delivers some high positive G's on those corners. Low capacity though.
  7. Any coaster can be themed spectacularly really, with a decent budget anythings achievable . It doesn't matter if it is Intamin, Vekoma or Mack. I don't quite understand how this statement lines up with the sentence before. I mean you are talking about how good B&Ms can be themed then you give LW as an example? I don't mean to be rude, I just want to know what you are trying to say. Cheers
  8. Klassen is absolutely right. You will have WVTP down your neck so far you won't be able to breathe unless you get full permission. I highly doubt that you will get permission as this footage is still classified as the attraction has not yet been released to the Public and WVTP are highly secretive about new attractions and a video would almost give the whole thing away. please get permission first.
  9. http://rcdb.com/m/ig1549.htm I once was asking the same question and I think it was Gazza who showed me this design, it has a Batman theme Sonic. I still think a Clone of Tatsu, would be the best however this is a little way out of MW price range at $22,000,000. The experience of lying down with your face pointing both away and towards the track would be amazing I think. Imagine the marketing possibilities First flying coaster in Australia (Iknow even a floorless coaster would have this but it is a claim to fame. But then again if we limit MWs price range to 15 mill then a wooden coaster would be best value. A wooden coaster to the value of 15 mill would be huge, as most big ones only cost 10 mill
  10. Ok the Movie itself is good though I think it would have been better shot on a tripod. I like at the end how some stills are made up of multiple images all strewn together. I quite like the space roller ride, Something I wouldn't mind seeing at MW as a permanent flat ride, I know it would look cheap but if it was properly attached to the ground and had a solid theme then that would all be changed around. Another ride shown in there at 1:17 which I don't know the name of would be a nice addition to WB Kids as a family thrill ride.
  11. Well it seems as if not everyone is negative about Dreamworlds latest move so I take back what I siad about it all being negative. I think these comments are more like the ones Ally wanted on the Blogroll
  12. OK, the 2 week maintenance session on Scooby Doo has just finished, are there any signs of improvement on the effects?
  13. Just the space that four cars require, it will be fairly compact. Where in Ocean Parade is it going? I can't think of any space free for four cars to be parked. Publicity.
  14. Wow this seems to be more frowned apon than MDMC is today and for good reason too. It seems as if all comments on the blog roll are negative and are in strong opposition to the attraction. I think the ride is poorly suited to Ocean Parade and would do much better alongside MDMC or within that area. I was shocked to see the experience lasted only 6 minutes and costs 10 dollars. I don't see capacity as being a big issue and I will be surprised to see any sort of a line up. Cost IMO will also keep guest numbers down for this attraction as it will mean and extra $30 for a family of four. As Gazza has said Dreamworld still has a long way to go in terms of different coaster types and experiences and stating is just a lie to decieve the General public. Gazza, cerberus584, little lefty legend, skeetafly and T-bone have pretty much summed it up and it is clear that this is not looked apon in favour.
  15. Might be different but that voice over is horrible.
  16. Well from the video it shows it going near Flowrider, two upcharge attractions right next to each other, correct me if I am wrong. I am curious to know how the simulators work can some one shed some light. Absolutely agreed, though they spent 10 million on MDMC in 2007 so that might lessen the chance of it happening any time soon.
  17. I am interested in the layout of the ride and if anyone could shed some light on it I would appreciate it. Will it be like Kingda Ka style or something unique.
  18. Well good to see him pulled up and kicked off. If anything it is good to know WVTP are reading the forums and taking note.
  19. Oh lol I wondered why you said that then I re read the post and noted the sarcasm, silly me.
  20. By adding new attractions not replacing others so the park has more to offer and can accommodate more people, pretty obvious really.
  21. If Dreamworld were in another state then maybe but it is not and by him taking charge of Dreamworld would mean he would be look after two dry parks one water park, two if he got WWW as well and finally an animal park, sea world. This would mean he would be competing with himself because he owned two parks very close by each other that were in the same sector. Correct me if I am wrong here this is just my thoughts.
  22. Well if they do remove it then that would make the Batman area of the park really small with one ride and one shop. Maybe they will use the area and some across the lake to make a Batman themed B&M flyer, I wish They would have to replace it with something though, even if it was a flat ride or a less extravagant rollercoaster but then the ride/attraction count stays the same.
  23. http://www.parkz.com.au/forums/index.php?s...ic=4064&hl=
  24. Thanks for the pictures Gazza With the trains, how may seats per carriage are there. I though there was only 2, side by side but, in those pictures it looks as if each carriage might hold 4. Is this a possibility or just wishful thinking in terms of capacity.
  25. Well I think it was mentioned somewhere that water was going to be included and in this thread is a section about it just go back a few pages. No, of course not! No matter how deep or shallow the water is riders would not be able to touch it, far to dangerous.
