Thanks For the update Coaster Teen I was suprised to find it was 120m high (IMO it does not look it) for some reason I though it was only 60m. Isn't the 60m one being built at South bank?

I voted Flying (It became a toss up of Flying or wooden). After reading comments about the floorless designs I am a little bit unsure about getting one although in years to come I am sure we will see one here in Australia. Floorless I think would be highly marketable even more so flying. I didn't put wooden in the poll because I was going off the design types shown on the Rollercoaster page RCDB http://www.rcdb.com/is.htm Wooden falls under the catagory of type rather than design so that is why. I was also away last weekend and that is why I did not change the poll because I see wooden as a whole different coaster and something valuable to MW. A too have been fantasising about getting a woodie in the Wild West area for some time now. A Woodie and the spectacularly themed Wild West area just seem to go together. El Toro - Why not? It is one of the highest ranked wooden coasters in the world and would be the highest and fastest coaster in the park slashing Superman Escape by 15 m and 10kmph respectively. It was designed by Werner Stengel who if I remember correctly designed our famous Superman Escape. Definitely a thrill ride with the steepest drop of any wooden coaster 76 degrees and nine delicious airtime hills by comparison Superman only has three so triple the airtime sensations featured on Superman. It has a great compacity of 1296 riders per hour and a ride time of 1 minute and 42 seconds. As an extra bonus it is Prefabricated Intamin track and very smooth. It features also features a Lift/launch system Cable lift hill. I think this would be a fantastic option and seems to fit the bill and features pretty much every thing that a great coaster does. Come on MW, PLease !!! Absolutely Not, I hope you were joking . Replace Lethal Weapon that would a crime. MW have got to stop replacing rides to make way for new ones or the ride count stays the same and there is never anymoire to do in a day. Even if Leathal Weapon is bad in some peoples opinion it is not worth it to demolish it for a B&M Invert as much as the are cool it should be built in a different spot. Cheers,

So what do you think MW's next coaster design should be? For me it is a toss up between floorless and flying. I don't think we need another plain sit down and we already have an inverted although something like Dueling Drangons would be nice. If we were to get a Stand up it would have to be something like Riddlers Revenge or Mantis. I think Flying would be a great option, although expensive, they are still relitively new and after watching movies of Tatsu it has left me hungry for more. A floorless would be great also, I think the floorless Superman ride at Parque Warner would be a fantastic option. A 4th Dimension coaster like X2 would be a nice and unique but I imaginge they would cost alto and running costs would be large. Pipelines although compact would be a bad option IMO. Finally the Bobsled, I think it could work with MW but would not be a first option.

1) Ok for the first part of the poll: I really think themepark ticketing prices are too high and with rising costs including food, petrol and intrest rates it is becoming harder and harder for a family (2 adults, 2 kids) to afford a day at the park which with no discount for MW costs: $228, DW costs: $218 and SW costs: $228. To put it into perspective you are spending a little over 1/5 of the average weekly wage and for that money you only get one day of entertainment. Look at Cedar Pionts ticketing prices and they are signifigantly less for a day at the park. One day costs $43.99 USD Ages 3-61, 48" and taller. Valid any public operating day of the 2008 season (including HalloWeekends). Even with the exchange rate it works out cheaper if you are an adult, however if you are a child it works out roughly the same. The only difference is Cedar piont offers 18 rollercoasters and stays open mostly anywhere from 10.00am to 7.00pm-12.00pm depending on the day you visit 2) I think it is rediculous for our themeparks to be charging parents, Adult ticket prices for their children over 13 years of age. I know it is the normal and most places set set 13 as the bench mark but do you agree with it? Now I know that there are huge running costs in operating a themepark and keeping it well maintained but if you are not a pass holder and do not go for out looking for any discounts availble or even if you do a family day at the park is a very expensive option. Open for discusion.

From the pictures Gazza put on the site showing Kamikaze there are no conveyabelts in sight (unless I am seriously blind) which means guest willl have to carry the rafts up themselves. Shouldn't be to bad though, from pictures they are only 2 person rafts.

From the photos you took Gazza Mainstreet looks really cluttered with the supports everywhere is this how it felt when you were there?

Wow, I didn't know the footers went all the way out behind corkscrew. From Gazza's piece of art the layout looks entirely different to MDMC. Thanks for the pics of the jet skiis, they look great from the what the photos show. In the picture attached is that the final brake run, if so isn't it rather small, almost to small to fit a train of more than three or four jet skiis max. Does this mean we are looking at multiple trains made up of only a few carriages?

If it is going to be open by mid October I am suprised construction is further progressed. They haven't even began putting up the sets and the bitchamen is no where in sight. If klassen's predicted opening date is correct however, I do think it is interesting that it will be during a school term not on holidays. Is there any advertising for the ride yet and are the sets going to be prefabricated or made in house.

I actually think they look ugly although the talkning/walking function is really awsome and by the looks of the movie they amused guests to.

I am really starting to like the colour scheme of this coaster. Yeh The turns seem far more compact and personally I think they look better than the spaced out banked turns on MDMC. Oh and thanks joz, much appreciated

Ok, I am currently making a wooden coaster in No limits. I am using auto supports but the only problem is when a piece of track goes under supports the are not removed but kept in place. The first time I put them in the suports were removed in the places that needed to be but after I cleared the suports to keep building then put them in again to view in 3D with supports none were removed. Edit: Don't worry seems to be working again, just had to change track type.

Um scoobys lines can get enormously long during the Christmas hols. If the line is full, the wait can be up to 2 1/2 hours which is ridiculous and not worth it. Most days I would expect you would be waiting form 30-60 mins. Just a question do you like Cyclone?

I am interested in the Vekoma Pandora's Box ride and egar to see what one looks like in action. Does anyone have/know where I could find a movie of the ride. Also has anyone every ridden one overseas if so what sort of a ride experience did it deliver. I think this would be a perfect addition to Movieworld which currently lacks in flat thrill rides and could benifit from another dark ride. What do you think should it have a home in one of our themeparks?

Yeh I went to Wet'n'wild Christmas eve a few years ago for the first time. We talked to a life guard who said the Christmas Eve was the least buisiest day of the year. Lines were good if I remeber right. But on the dates your going after christmas I would presume they would be packed because people get annual passes and tickets for christmas they want to use. ridiculus capacity, something Dreamworld certainly needs to adress.

Yeh Inverted I stated almost the same idea previously and I agree it would improve the overall ride experience and make much more beliveable. It could still happen though (couldn't it?)

Yep good time to go. Lines should be quite as the peak peroid is over. Check maintence though, a few major rides could be down.
