Oh that it is such a shame, a dive machine would be great for MW. Oh and re the themeparknewsdirect thing, since when do they have to be "around the world". I uploaded those weeks ago.

Hey guys, For those that are interested, Ian from themeparkphotography.com has taken some shots of the major gold coast parks from above. They were very enjoyable to look at and of high quality. I suggest you have a look and see for youself. Gold Coast Theme Parks from Above: http://themeparkphotography.com/TPP_heli.html Cheers,

Really Wouldn't you get a warning and the video material confascated? You will if you go ahead with your plan. Sounds to me like you are trying to justify yourself/actions I find it funny to find someone so interested in boring, old Batman Adventure Ride.

Haha, it spins really fast. How much easier and safer would it be if they just invested in some solar panels and powered it by the sun.

Thanks for that rappa, great to hear this finally happening. I really hope it all goes ahead and it probably is about time they put some money backin to the ride as it is still one of the most popular and favourited of many guests. Any idea of how soon, after the Christmas holidays mabey. Although it could be sooner on myfun it is schelduled for maintence in November.

Hi guys, Can somebody give me the amount of rides and attractions there currently are at Universal Studios Hollywood, Universal City, CA, US. I would have used the databas but of the open/close dates of the rides are unknown so some could be defunct and I would get an incorrect total.

Wow! Everone seems to be really raving about this ride. I'm getting excited, hopefully I can ride at Christmas. -
How would they be safe if they wern't bolted in, even if the are temporary this would have been a necessary precaution to take. Just think if a truck backed in unintentionally.

I agree Flea it will be interesting to see how many cars per train and how many trains. If they are smaller trains like Maverick then I can see it working with the theme as well. Mabey there are groups of resque teams going out to save the animals meaning we have more trains with less car in each. Corney I know but still. -

Thanks for the heads up ash, I wasn't quite sure I reckon there will be heaps of themeing/story explination in the queue and also during the ride itself . While in line multilple moniters explain why you have been called out and what your mission is. The jetskiis could be a new more versitile technology they are trying and that is what you will be using. The moniters could also display some short informing facts about the jet skiis such as max speed = 72kmph, Cost = insert coaster cost, Manufacturer = Intamin etc. etc. The rides themeing possibilty as many have said probably will be, water (hopefully), enclosed rocky caves, mist/fog/wind and hopefully other more elaborate ideas and things that will improve the ride experience greatly and make this a fantastic new addition to the park. Element wise I think some small, airtime bunny hills could complement the theme. In a jetski as you go over the waves you get many bumbs that send you out of your seat alittle (If I remeber correctly). The bunny hops, I think would add extra realism and perfectly deliver that true jetskii sensation. -
Wow, thanks for the correction Swanny Greater minds think alike

I think a few more crossovers would improve the ride as there is only one ATM. If the first part of the ride which ALIENSK did on No limits is infact the correct layout then I will be dissapointed as it the second part would then almost be a clone of the first part and make for an element repitious layout a bit like MDMC with helixes If the launches launch in opposite directions that would make a very intersting duelling effect if they were going to synchronize the two. Zane, I am sure that they will have ordered two trains mabey even three as others have speculated but they might not be running the amount of trains the bought year round. Just like Superman only runs one train usually in off peak periods when there is less demand. I would say most likely two stations as WVTP would have learn't from MDMC poor capacity issues and this would boost capacity. -
Isn't that really bad, to have guests regually greying/blacking out on one of the parks rollercoasters? Seriously thats a design issue, I take it it is from to much G-force. How was the ride before and after the grey out fun, scary, exhilirating?
-
Why not? I mean it is open now isn't it, are they still trying to hide it from the public? Does anyone else think it is interresting that W'n'W's last three major attractions Tornado, Surfrider and Kamikaze all offer sort of the same ride experience. Up, down, Up, down half pipe sort of rides, anyhow. Cheers,
-
So if they were only a construction barriers then why would they be so high? Excuse my ignorance
-
Did you get any pics of the ride operation? Glad you had fun, were there heaps of people at the park today for the opening? and finally were the rafts heavy to carry and how were lines? Sorry for the flood of questions Cheers,

Hey Joz thanks a whole lot, for all those photos? How much track was left to put up when you were there? I am really interested in the last part of the ride, Now does anyone think they are going to do something with the empty middle section inside of those turns, theming wise I mean? Photo below> Mabey they could enclose that area and put in big fans and mist as the storm gets wilder, just a thought though. http://www.parkz.com.au/photo/AU/Gold_Coas...er_24_2008.html Note: How different is this looking to MDMC -
What are you serious was it that bad? I don't belive you
-
I completely agree Rich and was thinking along the same lines myself. Are they that desperate, I know the more money they make the more they can put back into the park but seroiusly to charge that much for a ride in a buggy is ridiculous. I wonder how many families are going to fork out an extra $20 on top of the $220 entry fee. Have they built a road from MW to PC or are they going to drive the buggies along the Highway at 20knph. Bad idea MW.
-
Why? Re the seats no longer spinning does that reall draw from the ride experience or is it still just as fun?
-
BTW does anyone know what happened to the cars ans sets from PASS? Could they put them up for auction.
