  1. Not quite as much of a mess as @Slick has portrayed. Just to counter and clarify. Nobody was pushing anyone, VRTP staff clearly said the ride wouldn’t be operating yet prior to dropping the rope. The ride closed sign was there immediately after rope drop, and staff at the front of the ride.were informing guests it would open at some point today, would likely be a couple of hours. People were suggested to try other open attractions but nobody was prevented from waiting around. Staff were around answering queries until approximently 11:05 when matinance staff exited and it appeared closer to opening at which point they were at the usual entry host position at the top of the stairs. At this point the people scattered around the entry point formed a line and a crowd quickly built. A staff informed the line to move to the side of the path rather than block it. This photo was taken at 11:10
  2. Yep, still cycling at present. Second half of the castle que appeared to be closed off as I walked through too.
  3. Dreamworld have slightly extended hours from the 27th, from the e-news sent today.
  4. Worth noting these are permanent installations rather than the temporary ones they usually have. Also there are two.
  5. Hotdog fans rejoice, for the stand has returned for the summer holidays. For @Slick and other fans of just the tip a
  6. The “train” Dreamworld are currently operating is referred to as a tractor by train enthusiasts as it runs on a John Deere motor. Personally I wouldn’t mind this “train” as much if it had the power to run three full carriages, or if for the summer holidays the Baldwin also ran to provide extra campacity.
  7. It was mentioned in the monthly e-news/passholder newsletter for November.
  8. The three day pass (3 parks) also has had a $10 price rise to $129. Will be interesting to see if the increased One Pass cost sticks around after the holidays.
  9. Purchasing a new annual pass through ride "ambassador" ExperienceOz seems to get you some ERT.
  10. I don’t mind it at all, if it’s cheaper/makes sense to source locally. I have been told the current kids strollers are Kmart ones.
  11. Roof is on, and I would assume the interior fit out is further along than that image despite being posted on DW Social yesterday.
  12. Photo of said planter box, a lot of facade work going on over near Arkham Courtyard too.
  13. Today’s update, the path from Main St to Giant Drop is temporarily closed.
  14. Dreamworld seems to have taken a page from VRTP and ditched season passes, previously they would be releasing a pass that expires Dec 24 2019 around now. Instead they now are offering Annual Pass including photos (currently with a bonus month)
  15. Looks almost ready to go, wonder if the will do anything with the (presumably) unlicensed Looney Tunes print on the ops booth.
  16. Train was operating fine on the 13th (Tuesday) and has been operating on weekdays during my previous visits on weekdays during the past few months.
  17. That would require a single staff member, you cant expect that . I found the omission of Penguin Encounter more ridiculous, at first I thought they may have just forgotten to put it in the exhibit page but it is also not listed on the park map.
