I agree Road Runner looks great but SE is in dire need of a repaint.

Longest wait for me would be two hours for X2 at SFMM, longest wait in Australia would be for SE a couple of days after opening at one hour and a half.

The on board audio was working on some (but not all) trains today however the ride was having technical difficulties in the afternoon. The three shade tents are certainly temporary and I am sure a more permanent solution will be implemented after holiday crowds die down.

When I visited on New Years Eve they were requiring rash shirts tucked into your board shorts and those wearing bikinis/speedos were required to put on shorts that were provided (and tuck in the rash shirts) There is defiantly a difference between the outside and the inside, I make it through on the outside with ease but I have to push myself to make it through the loop on the inside .

I am not that surprised, I believe DW made a better fit than MW or any Sydney location. MW have plenty to keep themselves busy with in 2012 anyway.

Quick correction

My highlight of the nights (have been to both public evenings so far) are Superman in the dark and the lights before and after the Christmas Parade synchronised to music. The biggest disappointment was the Kwazy Christmas shows, whilst I am not the intended audience I saw many families leaving and on the second night a carol was cut certainly a step down from Looney Tunes on Ice last year. For those not allergic to Facebook theme park pages, have uploaded many photos here.

Also worthing noting a MyFun ad in the Sunday Mail today stated opening is the 20th for Spongebob (and Dora I assume)

^^ I completely agree with you, in regards to the cinema DW (and sometimes VRTP) often does what is better for revenue/business rather than guest satisfaction and the fact VRTP do not seem to value their history nor want to promote it. Castaway Bay, the Aqualoop, Artic Penguins are all suburb additions to their parks however DW is getting all the attention to due a great marketing campaign of the Summer Funomenon. I have heard the same in regards to DW's 2011 ride (pushing boundaries, literally). My understanding is only Senior Management are currently informed, they are certainly being very secretive at this stage. I know nothing much

From what I have heard the entire ride (Bermuda) is effectively "scrapped" I am thinking they will need a high capacity ride, and rapids would be a good fit if it is themed well.
