  1. Worth mentioning MW have now listed FT for sale online for the next few months (outside of School Holidays) $79.99 rather than the $149.99 that has been during school holidays lately.
  2. You have your phone or FT wristband scanned and are given a VQ physical card that is collected by the attendant at sort/load. Considering it’s loaded/those screenshots are from the app I doubt they would use the old physical Accesso devices like Dreamworld used to.
  3. Worth noting they are looking at reintroducing it, these were the fast track options listed in the app on the first day of school holidays (that apparently were in testing and not yet ready for the public). Note they do require an amount of waiting similar to how The Flash Pass at Six Flags operates.
  4. This is what I believe is simply what most people are encountering, and it pays to simply try again throughout the day as more availability pops up.
  5. I’m simply saying it’s been consistently available during school holidays since it’s inception and to say otherwise is false. If you’ve never been able to use it whatsoever perhaps look if you do have a genuine technical issue with your app or account.
  6. I can state categorically in my experience that is not the case, unless you are saying it’s unavailable simply because you waited until it had run out to try and utilise it and didn’t check back throughout the day when further availability opens. As a “free” physical que skip service it will always run out, especially during the holidays. Doesn’t mean it wasn’t available that day. Here’s a screenshot from earlier these school holidays.
  7. Village do charge more for Single Use One Shot Fast Tracks via the app during peak periods but in general VQ remains available. It is an advertised ticket inclusion. Just need to jump on it at 10AM/when it starts. Ride availability is not guaranteed, but usually that is only impacted when the ride is not operating at full capacity. WWF was only filling up a maximum of 6 seats per boat on a visit earlier in the holidays and was not available on Virtual Que but everything else was (with varying availability throughout the day).
  8. It’s metal. Ride was down most of today due to high winds, but when it opened up in the afternoon they were operating both sides.
  9. I was there and nobody had to wait ages, that simple! Taipan also was only running one train and didn’t have a long wait either (although Tailwhip did). It’s called an opinion, this is a discussion forum, I’m welcome to mine as you are welcome to yours. I don’t think it was necessary on Opening Night, however if wait times are at 45m during the holidays I think they should. Giant Drop is apparently more popular than I expected it to be during these holidays and I said I didn’t have first hand knowledge 🤷‍♂️.
  10. I disagree and likely so did the park. They wanted the focus on the side with the expensive new lights 🤷‍♂️ Outside of the thoosie community I doubt anyone cared that only one side was operating.
  11. Marvin is down for unscheduled work, noticed it was down on Sunday afternoon while I was at the park. I feel it should really not be featured on the main page of Movie World's website as "NOW OPEN" if they are aware it will be closed currently.
  12. In my opinion that would warrant having both sides operational, but yeah it definitely wasn't needed opening night.
  13. It would have been nice for the ocean side to have been open for the opening night but ultimately the wait did not really demand both sides operating. I haven’t visited yet these school holidays but I doubt the demand for the ride requires it currently either. It makes more sense to always have one side operating consistently while the other is under maintenance.
  14. The app also recently had a major update, so ensure you are running the latest version, failing that if it is an account based issue such as your ticket/pass not having a Virtual Que entitlement the best place to seek support is the ride photo booth. That is where they have access to App data/account information.
  15. Also interesting it’s only operating between 11 and 3. Given how shoddy the sign is I wonder if that was a last min decision.
  16. VQ is available during holiday periods, it just fills up extremely quickly. VQ is an advertised inclusion in your ticket/pass. At times they have removed rides when it is operating at reduced capacity, like Scooby just before it closed or when SE was running only one train during holidays.
  17. On this note I was surprised on my last visit to Australia Zoo recently the Tiger show was performed without handlers in the enclosure. Anyone know if they are also moving to non-contact?
  18. SE's new TV's do actually play the original que video and static timetable display! Hoping this stays the case. Worth noting Road Runner has reopened early from maintenance and Doomsday has been cycling.
  19. It’s ok folks… Dreamworld have heard your concerns and the builder has come to the party with more signage.
  20. The LPS website has been updated to state the following..
  21. Some supports are now on site, as is the control panel.
  22. Interesting that there is a difference on the main website vs app they chose to list it under current maintenance in the app.
  23. To be specific since you decided to go this route management being too proud to admit the park made an error in judgement. Not anybody specifically.
