Ah shit. Alphas over guys.

I'm talking duration. So a 300m Tornado and a 100m Alley could leave at the exact time yet arrive in the pool, also at the same time. That's why i used WNW Sydney as an example, seeing as they have a variation of an Alley. Having ridden that, it is very slow. And seeing as they haven't stated how it would rival FW, it could be in both duration OR length.
-
I say 3 times because FW is just a short tube section that garners speed relatively quickly. While comparing to an alley (using WNWS for reference) You leave the tower almost straight into a funnel, leave the funnel, small funnel again and repeat as necessary. In doing this the ride is extremely show and thus can be alot longer even if its half the length of FW.
-
Has there been a Nearmap update of the area that should be Adventure Waters or whatever the new name is? Google doesn't update Cairns imagery vary often.
-
Well according to the laws of motion and general physics, a Tantrum alley would eaisly be atleast 3 times longer than the Funnel Web. So it's very possible.

That video is making me want a Batmobile Launched Coaster that hugs the ground. -

Although it would make a 3rd consecutive year, another Wolf Creek one could be done but this time based on the series. For those who have watched it, episodes 4 and 6 come to mind (tunnels and final confrontation). Especially the chasing through the tunnels, they could make an actual elaborate maze (i think Arkham was done like this?) consisting of tunnels and you've got multiple Micks chasing you, with death around dead ends. Another idea would be a well done 3D maze. The demons done in USH's This is the End maze were extremely well done, and the depth could only make it better. An idea i literally just thought of that could also be harnessed REALLY well in this situation, is colour projectors. So in 3D mazes for those that don't know, Chromadepth is used instead of stereoscope (red and blue glasses). Chromadepth separates colours based on their position in the colour spectrum, so red is close, green is mid, and blue is far away. Say they had a green wall with a face projected onto it in different hues of blue, and then bam it changes to full colour (maybe even moving). So you're walking down a hallway and at the end is a blue patch as you get closer you can make out features and determine its a face, then when you're say 2-3 metres away it changes to a full proper face popping out of the wall, and all of a sudden you notice lightly defined hands protruding the walls at you as this face changes, the hands change to red. Cheap and overly effective jump scares, because lets face it psychological scares don't work in this situation. -
If this goes ahead i think it finally means Ettamogah are FINALLY getting their shit together, and growing.
-
Well it would explain the recent influx of new designs on the Ettamogah Group's website. The Filename for the hotel is "Geelong", so that sounds promising. Also my favourite thing about this is the fact they've replaced the Ford with a Mack. Theres also the other hotel option that popped up in january i believe (last photo was last month) And lastly, this ones been up for a long while, but they've just started to run with it. Its currently being built in King St Melbourne and can also be adapted for food courts and the likes. So this brings the total type of Pubs to 6, with 3 standing, 1 former and another nearing completion.

Well according to maps, Alex's way is actually the easiest and quickest if you ignore the permission and key part.
-
OG/TPG the area you had belongs to pine grove cemetery. Here i've highlighted in red the graveyard, and in blue the 3 possible entrances i noted.
-
Nah, in RCT3 you could get a ground view of the park through the guests eyes, but it was limited as to where they wanted to go, unless you used the car cheat. Is it the same, or is there a full you-control guest cam?
-
Is there an actual full guest POV mode? Or do you just hijack the persons head like RCT3?

I made the trip (see 20 min drive) to the area this arvo, to see how far i could get without trespassing. And the answer is nowhere. One side is a fence surrounding a Rehabilitation Zone for trees and shit , with a beam blocking (today it was open) to the area with whats basically a fire trail leading through. From maps, id say the entire area is enclosed in fence bar that entrance. Meanwhile on the other side, the only way in is through a fence which just so happened to be half open and the lock and chain still in tact. The 3rd (but more stupid) way in is under your generic farm wire fence, over a hill, and jump 2 more large solid fences. So i'd say he took way #2 and somehow managed to avoid security. My name is Justin, not Andrew. No i did not trespass or follow through the gates.

Listening to this with trance playing in the background is something completely different.

I'd like to see the Hydrocoaster that was originally part of the plan go in last, that way we can get it nicely wrapping around rides and hugging the ground in a Toboggan esque manner. Otherwise I'd like to see the 2 additions (KC, PR) implemented in an above and beyond manner than the 2 already existing versions in the park (Billabong Beach and Rapid River respectively). BB when i first visited Jamberoo back in 2006, while probably wouldn't have the same effect now; was something that really captured me. The fact they got a slanted structure of the same likeness of one of Australia's most well known pubs, the Ettamogah. Not to mention the tipping bucket, as basic as it is, is the best theming i've seen on any of them that ive seen. To 1-up that, they need not only a different layout, but something bigger, and more dense, as well as something just as iconic. My thoughts here are with a giant Gum Tree as the centerpiece, and a WWW Splashquest installed along side. Using the tree to lead into the setting, and keeping BB as is, means the only other available theme being the Bush/Rainforest. Seeing as water and Whoop Whoop are taken in both name and theming. An Aquacourse and/or Rain Fortress would fit in well here. PR would follow the same vein. If a Splashquest was used, this would open up a world of opportunity for not only the park, but also the upcoming Lazy River. Hit a button, get a dunk of water, hit another one, get a nice big wave surge, and another opens up a secret passage. RR as is (or as i remember with last visit 2010), is nothing compared to Calypso Beach (last visit 2006) although being almost 2 different levels in theming and execution. As for the Top Secret part, I feel Slideboarding would be a fantastic way to go. And as such, give it the same interactivity that would be found in the Splashquest. Also while keeping with the Australian theme and the Ettamogah Groups venture into an Albury Waterpark, an Ettamogah Family Restaurant would be a fantastic idea as it adds another food option to the park and spreads out the crowds that would normally "attack" the current stands, it fits the theme and can help throw money at the company to get their shit together (I wont elaborate on that one. PM me if interested.).

I think this is supposed to be along the same lines as what Alton Towers and Thorpe Park have done. Look them up on maps, You used to be able to find the Stig in Alton i think. -

Doomsday Destroyer - 2016 Movie World construction

I'd much prefer something slow and painful thanks @reanimated35. Got bored at work today so i did a mockup of something using the showstage. So a giant facade is thrown up against the showstage, and the exterior queue is in an old and overrun garden, with the park owner guy sitting on the toy thing at the front of the queue entry holding the injury sign for the ride. Once you make it through the garden switchbacks, the queue winds through a mirror maze to the station. Once onboard, you start progressing through the rooms just as in the novel with the Joker appearing on screens singing his song. Once you've made it through the first floor and start to go up a hill you still have Joker and his minions tormenting you, and the moment you burst through those door you see Batman and Robin spinning on industrial sized fans (throwback to Adam West) with Jokers commentary saying something like "I picked these 2 up from Eddie". As you progress through these rooms the ride becomes less Killing Joke and more madhouse. There's rooms with giant fractured mirrors that all of a sudden the Jokers face flies up to and shines through, etc. At the end of this corridor you turn into an open area with a giant Joker balloon. Here is a giant wild mouse type drop towards the floor and under the balloon. As you come back up you quickly swing into a long corridor on L2. In here is more of the Joker tormenting you and telling jokes. Through the next set of doors is the "cylinder roll", a round corridor descent with giant screens or something with HA HA HA written everywhere. At the end of the corridor is a bunch of small hills to fly over before coming to the end and swinging right. Here lays another steep drop but now it's only down 1 floor so its not as big. coming through the next set of doors is another random corridor before again turning right and going up another hill lift. Arriving at the top and entering the doors, you;re not in a corridor so you get a nice view of the height and balloon. the next room is filled with just the word "get" the next room, "ready" then the last room just says "guys". You immediately swing into the lift drop which flickers the lights off and all you see is "HA HA HA" in glow in the dark paint, and a screen above you, the Joker opens a hatch and says goodbye. Immediately you drop to the 1st floor, and the car backs out onto a turntable and staring you dead in the face is the joker again. You then pass through into the exit station. All over the place could be hidden clues and throwbacks to Batmans Rogues Gallery and previous incarnations like a tree in the entrance garden with minions trying to climb it up towards a sparrow with a machine gun. -

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4853102/?ref_=fn_al_tt_2 You were saying? As for material, i'm saying omit the parts about Barb, and use other ideas. Like the giant mirrors showing only his face, hang a few henchmen from the ceiling... Have a look at the sneak peek released yesterday to see where i'm coming from. -

Now that i think about the area it's going into, if the Showstage is being developed for a ride; What if it was a Ghost Train esq ride themed to "Joker's Funhouse" from The Killing Joke? Considering we are getting a movie adaption later this year/early next. -

With the spinning platform, were there paddles or something that link with the boat to sync up the speed with the rotations and keep the boats moving? -
