Shooting a scene is much better than shooting a trailer - Universal used to do a Star Trek show like that where the volunteers could bring home a tape. Mad Max is a great property for a stunt show. Make it like Waterworld.

That is the danger of running a Facebook page. You can never presume what was true yesterday is true today (unless you are in the park). It's about time VRTP got themselves better cards - the previous ones were cheap and nasty. My favourite would have to be Adventure World's pass. They don't even have a picture on the card - you load one up when you initially sign up and it is displayed on their monitors when they scan the card at the park.

Yeah, I still think proslide because of Reckless Loony, if for no other reason. Looking forward to the themeing. I hope it's green like that wet abyss video. It would be great if they started the story in the queue area and had a lighting display and sound effects that tie in with theme.

Wow, great news Mark. I can't believe how much work is going on down there at the moment. Big fan of the music/sound zones. I love the music you've been playing at the entrance gates the last couple of seasons - very Harry Potteresque. Any clues as to what the Platinum passes will entail? A day of fast pass or cabana hire perhaps? I can't believe you're actually doing the sleepover event - amazing! Have you thought of doing one like the CEO Sleepout and raising funds too? Matt from Adventure World - there's nothing that guy can't do. I was also impressed with the team that ran the Freefall. Getting rid of that prerecorded Jamaican guy was the best move ever.

Yeah, ambience is the key. You gotta have time to smell the roses. Nothing worse than when you see some family self destruct or others falling asleep on a park bench.

Yeah, it's a great little park to hang out at - very picturesque. You'd love the cabanas: they're extremely relaxing and an awesome place to go for some peace and quiet during a busy day. Mark and his team have done an excellent job of boosting the quality of service. That reminds me, not long until the new season pass sale starts: I'm a rusted on season pass holder now.

Late January is the perfect time to visit DL. Unlike WDW it's more prone to local crowds and best visited during the early to middle part of the week. It's my favourite park with rides crammed in every square inch.

Best feeling in the world - I'll bet you'll be doing that again.
