  1. Hasn't it been mentioned multiple times now that DD was simply waiting on new parts to arrive before they reopened it? Given its been testing again, it's likely said new parts would have to go through a certain run in time before it was approved for use. Obviously depending on how important said parts were.
  2. Given the completely different themes, would it really fit anywhere? Maybe the kids area?
  3. I'd say it's temporary until they need to block off certain paths for Carnivale. I remember getting stuck behind them a few times at the plaza launch.
  4. But it's 2016, isn't the world always centred around the person making the comment?
  5. Nice idea in theory, terrible idea for photos.
  6. In theory, yes. But not sure how it would go in practice.
  7. Yep, that's pretty much exactly it haha.
  8. In that case it was a different story to the one I heard about allegedly occurring during trading hours.
  9. If it wasn't for the health and safety of the animals, that would be awesome! Wait, can you fill me in please? I vaguely remember a relative claiming they knew the person who was responsible for that a few years back but I thought it was just a BS story.
  10. Nah, they're leaving the theme park business. Rumour has it the site will become "The Greatest Churro Factory The Southern Hemisphere Has Ever Seen".
  11. It's assumed "hero" until the plans get leaked further or someone who's seen them confirms/hints at where the entry/exit will be located, then yes, IF the entrance is over the back, the villain theme will make more sense.
  12. I just had that pop up too. Given they clearly got their info from Parkz, I wonder who tipped them off? The Parkz post doesn't exactly pop up in any common searches related to Mark or Adventure World.
  13. So given all the down time, maybe these were related to SDSC after all...
  14. YES! I couldn't remember the name of it, but yes! This is probably the second best putt-putt I've been to in a long time. (The best IMO being Glow Golf in Melbourne.) Don't let the overly saturated pics fool you, Putt Putt is still a pretty old course, but does have a nice replay ability. Plus, unless they've changed it, the tickets never expire, so you could buy 3 courses, do one, come back in a year or so and do another on the same ticket.
  15. Claiming it's "one of the better ones" to me anyway, set's a fairly low standard for the rest of them. Yes, granted, it IS one of the better ones, but it's getting on in years (unless I'm mistaken and they've done a refurb in the last 5 or so years). It just felt kind of old and stale last time I went. IMO, if you've done it once or twice, there's not much replay ability even after a couple of years.
  16. And here I was thinking they were footers for the world's largest Dippin' Dots store.....
  17. Ah ok, excuse the ignorance, is that seat wider than a standard coaster seat?
  18. Am I missing something sorry or is this exactly what you just said you didn't want?
  19. Without the talk of bringing back something the park/s once had, or a similar/clone of those old rides (we've had enough discussions on bringing back the tour/BT/LTRR etc), what would you like to see that's NEW to an Australian park that fits the "family/plus sized guest" demographic?
  20. Did you invent a time machine or has there been news other than what the sunday mail already ran a report on months ago? Ah, just found both articles and it seems the only change is the plans are now to be made public.
  21. Well there's another reason not to open the park
