  1. So can we do a list of who is going? I know who most of the people are but there's still a couple I'm not sure of
  2. Just got an email: Alpha 3 will release on August 23 Although Alpha will not be available to buy through Steam, if you are an Alpha player you will need to have a Steam account to access Alpha 3. This is because we are adding Steamworks at this stage in development. We will contact you shortly nearer the time with details on how to redeem your free Steam key. Finally, we wanted to let you know that we are going to be closing Alpha to new players on August 25
  3. If he's working on stormwater though he might technically have some kind of plumbing qualifications
  4. See I don't know how they plan on telling us about the parking. Signs maybe? But there was zero info when making the booking.
  5. @skeetafly @Theme Park Girl @JaggedJanine How to cancel ticket?
  6. Already booked for the UTT on day one. Should be getting @JaggedJaninealong too
  7. This might be of interest later today for info around Kopps road.
  8. Hogs breath, hooters and Nimbin ahead.
  9. One link takes you to the photo, one takes you to the ticket booking page. So yay - 2 firsts this year for me, 1st group to do the star tour and 1st night for the UTT.
  10. Just gonna leave a few things here. Make of any or all of this what you will. 1, 29, 15, 7, 22, 14, 28, 8, 21 One of these things is not like the other, one of these things just doesn't belong, can you tell which one is not like the other? And I've just noticed some asshole stole my thunder now and I was going to make it a game for you all. Anyway, Tour is $139 Fast tracks are $45 per maze or $100 unlimited, ride fast pass is $45. And the 31st might be added as a day too. (Monday)
  11. All of the park websites are basically the same. They offer little to no reason to visit other than to purchase tickets and get some extremely basic ride info. Pretty much exactly what I'd expect from the Ekka's website, and what do you know, it's exactly what you get from the Ekka's site. Where's the content? (This is certainly not anything against Parkz) I shouldn't be forced to come to a site like Parkz to get an understanding of what to expect in the park. I want to go to a theme parks website and learn what I can expect. I want to see ride stats from the manufacturer. I want to see up to date images of what's at the park. I want to see a fun and games area for kids (or kids at heart) with things like colouring in of rides/attractions, or online browser based games. I want to see on ride POV or off ride videos of what to expect. I want to see accurate and informative food and beverage options. Hell, I want to see a damn live webcam of a popular section of the park so I can see what the atmosphere is like. Right now, I'll jump onto the page and see that yes, this ride is open, there's the ticket price, ok I've made my purchase, time to go do other things. One thing that bugs me about VRTP too is the fact it has 2 different ticketing systems. One for the passes, and one for the extras. Why can't it just be the one? Especially when the extras one doesn't work on a phone. Overall there's not one single page I've found, local or international, that has what I'd consider a full experience worthy of being called the "best". There's a few decent ones, but nothing that stands out.
  12. I'd like to see it happen, but at the same time I can't say I'm really surprised. Or too sad for that matter. I'd rather see it come back as a theme park, as opposed to the original plans we saw here.
  13. Mate, there's better ways to get attention. Pick a page and just stick with it. You're trying to jump in late to the party in an already over saturated market. It will take time.
  14. Is It A Private Tour? You will be in a group of no more than 10 guests hosted by our tour guide.
  15. We know of 6 people in the group now. So technically a max of 4 spots left.
  16. They don't really care. They didn't with Ingress, and while this is insanely more popular, it's basically the same game. Pokemon Go has added almost $8bn to Nintendo's market value. Soon there's reports that they will start selling the option of businesses buying the ability to become Pokestops to draw more customers.
  17. Glad they cleared that up. Watching this is almost as good as watching the subtitles on that MW video the other day.
