My money is on Lego going in this area. Or at least I think that's the area I'm referring to. That last shop just as you leave the park, I think it used to sell showbags or something? Easy enough to convert the concertina door into a solid wall/roller-door or something and isolate the rest of the park from the outside world. Moto - TBH it's been a long time since I'd been to the park up until recently when I wanted to check out the tigers. The more common feedback I've heard has been from here with all the enthusiasts saying that there's not enough thrills. I do remember going to DW with a friend of mine who's not on these forums because he isn't overly into parks as much as I am but even he pointed out the queue for MDMC would be nice and quick because it's pretty much dead after the first turn. As for the colour - it's not uncommon for comments to be made on how faded a ride looks, that goes for DW and VRTP parks. Sure it doesn't impact the ride experience, but it does make the park look more run-down. It's been mentioned multiple times on here, Ocean Parade looks great and you've done some great work getting it nice and shiny, however it seems now, in compassion, the rest of the park is feeling a bit "forgotten". While it makes sense that the focus is on one section at a time, in my opinion, OP wasn't the best place to start as it feels like you're trying to keep everyone there rather than wander around the park. That area has enough drawcards on it's own anyway. The goldrush and back/animal area of the park needs some love. I'd have to challenge you on the waterfall there - you say it's in a effort to save water or be more efficient. By circulating the water from the 'Dreamworld river', you wouldn't lose enough water from evaporation that wouldn't just be replaced by rainfall anyway. Plus, isn't it connected to Oakey Creek anyway? Thank you again for all the in-depth answers. I hope once the initial bombardment of questions wears off you stick around for the long haul

I do have a couple of questions if you don't mind @The Original Belinda Brown Motocoster: Whilst I don't personally agree it's a "big thrill ride" as such, I do see it's fit with the park to appeal to others, even though it seems out of place with the other attractions around it. Are there any plans on freshening it up a bit? I noticed it has no maintenance scheduled for the rest of the year. Did it recently come out? The coaster cars look very bland with all the stickers removed at the moment and the track is hugely faded. Also having a motorsport themed ride with a yellow track just doesn't make sense. Especially with it going through un-themed bush. I'd suggest painting the track black, re-doing the bikes with new logos and maybe throwing in a bit more of the theming. Obviously all personal opinion and there's plenty of cost involved. Waterfall: SEQWater has not imposed any water restrictions for at least 3 years now. Is there any reason you ('you' being Dreamworld in this case) can't just replace the pump system and get the waterfall operating again? The future: Other than the significant investment in Tiger Island, are you able to confirm if there's any other big draw card on the horizon in the lead up to the 2018 Commonwealth Games? Fair enough if that's all hush-hush at this stage though.

^ Thanks Alright, so a while back in one of these threads you may remember we were getting some messages from Dreamworld's social media team that I was relaying between them and Parkz. Then they went quiet and I didn't hear back from them for a while. I got a nice reply from them on Tuesday which I got sidetracked and didn't mention on here. You may also remember that I asked for photos which were not provided. The reason being the maintenance guys were under pressure to get everything done on time and now obviously they're still quite busy with a few rides down currently. That's fair enough. If it wasn't for the crappy weather outlook for the weekend I'd try to get some pics myself (of whatever is safe to do so obviously). The person who's been responding to me calls themselves "The Original Belinda" and there is a possibility they will join the forums in an official capacity if time permits. The good news is, judging by the response above, they already know we're a little crazy. They also know that they're going to be inundated with questions around Eureka which will get old and annoying fast and quite possibly make them run for the hills, so lets try to play nice. Also a lot of us, myself included, don't always have a perfect track record with new members making claims they're from a particular area/park/team/where ever. So, if they do join officially let's try not to be too rude to them, and maybe, just maybe we can develop a great relationship with them like we have with Mark Shaw.
