Or would it link in that well together that the VR freezes too?

Ah, so you were agreeing with what I'd said originally. The way you said each side I thought you meant the arms sorry.

The seats and the counterweights you mean?

Given that Parkz has confirmed this is an Intamin Suspended Twin Hammer, and Intamin's own website only shows a version of the ride existing with the circle, you'd have to assume the circle is on the way. Unless we're getting some kind of customised version they don't advertise anywhere. Will be interesting to see if they adopt Dreamworld's approach of a tame and intense cycle for the ride too.

Given something needs to be bolted on to the arm by the looks of that pic, and Intamin's website doesn't show a non-"big circle" version of the ride, I'd have to assume that it comes after everything else so it's not in the way.

At a guess I'd say the mark is on the north east side of the fixed arm. This being item #4 they need to inspect.

Ugh that is the part of the ride that bugs me the most. They need to do something with those awnings. Grow a vine or something.

Same here, I want to die on a coaster when I'm really old lol

Same rule as woodworking. "Measure twice cut once" or in this case measure to make sure there's no defect in the product, take them off, do the other work you need to then put them back on later.

Not only that but roughly 40,000km of water pipes in Australia are asbestos cement.

Just for the hell of it I'm going to try to make one last visit to carnivale tomorrow night. I forgot to ask, does anyone know if there's anything special on for the finale?

If anything they might be headed to the substation next door, I also don't know enough about them to know if they're theming or not though.

I personally wouldn't be reading too much into this - with the DC area under construction, you'd expect most of the park, predominantly the DC themed areas to be getting a touch up.

I think that might be the angle. Maybe.

It's a carnival ride as such in the way that similar rides can be found at a carnival, but's not a travelling ride. Take this XXL for example. It's a travelling carnival ride on the back of 3 semis. It takes 6-7 hours for 4 people to assemble it.

Didn't we learn ages ago what happened? @joz A lot of funding has been prioritised to other areas of the park too keep up with competition and draw new crowds.

You laugh now till you realise those black patches aren't deliberate, they're faded paint.

Will be interesting to see how they theme the wheel and seats. That will be the make or break in the theming I think. (Of the physical ride itself I mean) Pic source So... @Slick was "PaniCock" intentional?

Maybe the main support is not technically part of the design?

Wait - if that's his arms...... This is the first thing that comes to mind... https://youtu.be/OnDxxQugCI0?t=56

Shits AND giggles?! You're the best! Interesting that if we are getting a new train it's all on old stock.

ALL OF THE THINGS!

Been on ToT2 multiple times when it's failed to make the tower and we were asked if we wanted to re-ride immediately.
