Linear Induction Motors
On the Kingda Ka animated video i have seen, Just before the launch bit a small plate like thing slides under the train. Is this a magnet that is pulled to the end of the launch track and by then the train has got enough speed to make it up the tower. I was just wondering if this is how those motors work could somebody please tell me exactly

Big Dipper
When i went to Luna Park yesterday, where the entrance for the tumble bug is I saw yellow rollercoster track painted onto the walls on either side of the entrance. Is this where the big dipper used to be. I never got to ride it while at Luna Park.

My favourite is Luna Park Sydney. It is in a great location right on the harbour and has some great rides, and i go there quite often now(but i wish Big Dipper was still there) Dreamworld is the best for thills though because of all the world class rides
