  1. I haven't tried them as yet but they sound pretty good. Prices are right too. Only available at Afterglow though and I haven't been to that so far.
  2. These would make excellent additions to the permanent dining options at Movie World.
  3. Yep. Also, the new screen I mentioned above is bigger and leaning slightly forward, which does make it more believable than before. The only effects that still really need work are the population count sign (used to start fully lined up but now starts very loose so it's obvious it's going to drop). Also the bit where someone falls off a balcony into a barrel is still completely broken. When a ride is closed for maintenance for so long, it's unacceptable for these things to still be less than 100%.
  4. 2.45pm. Carpark full and plenty of guests around, yet...... and that's on a Sunday! On a more positive note, the "GET OUT" guy is back (they've installed a new TV screen) on Wild West Falls!
  5. I think I might have heard that the new name will be "The brand new official Warner Bros Movie World Scooby-Doo Spooky Roller Coaster with awesome enhanced effects, by Village Roadshow Theme Parks". Pretty snazzy, don't you think?
  6. That what? I don't understand your point.
  7. Thanks. Got mine today! Works out about 18 cents a day for me. Insanely cheap!
  8. My very first management job was at a well known fast food restaurant. I fired crew members for eating half a nugget, and taking 5 seconds too long to make a burger. It wasn't because I'm a horrible person, but because I was literally told by my boss to get rid of these particular staff using any excuse available. It was made very clear to me that either I fire them or they would fire me! I needed the job so I did what I had to do. Such was the culture of the business at the time.
  9. In case anyone was getting the idea that the opinion of Joz was the only one that matters in this forum, it's actually not. Strangely, everyones opinion is equally valid.
  10. A video showing several clips of the view from the ride, and the ride itself in motion, along with reactions from "guests" (real or acted) who've just been on it should do the trick, and I still think my idea of "Blown Away" is a good name for the ride.
  11. That's ok. With a bit of help from gentleman Jack, you can hardly tell if pizza is cooked or frozen.
  12. Well I wish they'd make their minds up. They've been trying very hard to make it look that way for the last decade or so.
  13. Or if you're at a theme park, you'll have very little wait if you invest wisely in a fast track pass!
  14. Diet + Exercise, and you can go on almost any ride in the world! Simple as that! A really good start is don't drink soft drinks, EVER!
  15. That's great, but ALL guests should be able to say that, every day!
  16. As always, safety first, but it's not looking good if they're having these sort of issues when they've only just reopened after a VERY long period of maintenance.
  17. Seems like it's taken about a year to build, and they're saying it will last a year?
  18. I know it's the quiter time of year now, but this all flies in the face of the promises were given just a few months ago about better service and everything being open the whole time the park is. Looked good for a short time, but you have to be consistent.
  19. Ardent still don't seem to be able to find a suitable group CEO. Might help explain a few things. I know from my own experience that in a large organisation, if you don't have a good leader at the very top, everyone at all the levels beneath are severely limited in what they can achieve.
  20. The words "low", "water", and "level" definitely don't belong in the same sentence where a theme park is concerned!
