Batman: The Ride
Yeah I had a feeling it wouldn't fit...

Batman: The Ride
Me too, but another sim or something like that... (Probably not enough space for something like 'the amazing adventures of spiderman' is there???)

How many times have you been on Superman Escape?
I went a few weeks ago, just after school went back and the queue was fairly short (20 - 30 minutes) but they only had 1 train running. IMO they should run 2 trains to move the queue along rather than thinking 'well it's not school holidays so we only need 1 operating'..... At least all the effects were working the way they should again.

Bermuda Triangle
EE was definitely one of the highlights for me, but the animals were great too... I wonder how often glitches happen on a ride like that? Pretty lucky to catch it on a POV...

Bermuda Triangle
On that note, take a look at this POV on Expedition Everest where the windows menu pops up during the bit where the yeti pulls the track apart. DISNEY FAIL!

MW Attraction maintenance 2010
That's the problem with going when it's quiet... The queues might be short, but lots of good rides go in for maintenance! It's happened to me many times.

What's new for 2010
I guess it would be something like the Back Lot Stunt Coaster... That sounds pretty cool.

movie world parade
Wow, thanks for posting this! I had forgotten what it looked like all those years ago.... I can't believe how different main street looks now.

SE Question
I agree with what you are saying, but I was holding that phone pretty still... But yes the peaks don't look right do they.... Taking away the peaks, the results are in the +/-1 Lateral G force (which seems about right).
-
SE Question
Ok, I took my iPhone on Scooby today, here are the accelerometer results: Scooby.tiff Basically what you see here is the lateral G's, I started recording just as the car is spun around after the backwards drop.

Jet Rescue Stuck
Funny that, I saw it broken the very first day I rode too. I'd say it was probably around last April? But I want on the Jet Rescue first thing in the day and then at about 10:30 it just stopped in the tunnel. From what I recall I think they had it back up and running within an hour...

What's new for 2010
I know, I'm just saying that Sea Viper is a poor excuse for an "exciting new attraction"...

What's new for 2010
That was a joke, wasn't it?

SE Question
Now that's a good idea! Will do next time I visit...

Dreamworlds Need A Thrill
Dreamworld needs a big outdoor coaster I think. Like anything mentioned here, floorless, hypercoaster, mega lite, woodie... Any of these would go down great (and maybe some of the other parks might follow suit?)

SE Question
So what sort of lateral Gs would you actually pull on SDSC?
-
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2
Thats why you play Halo with friends who are actually good! Or just play FFA.....
-
SE Question
I always thought it slowed you so that you didn't pull too many lateral G's in the corners.... But that makes sense too... Well there you go..

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2
I agree that multiplayer is not so good right now, but Special Ops alone makes up for it. You can do a spec ops mission alone and then do it with a friend and have two completely different experiences... I think it has huge playability and the Campaign is also awesome (but far too easy even on Veteran). But I still think Halo 3 is better for online multi-player....

SE Question
Damn! The people in the front row would have seen it all happen too... On a similar topic, I once saw the Claw at Dreamworld hit a bird. I'm not sure if anyone got hurt but the bird was no more....
-
SE Question
That's right, because if the first train is being unloaded and the second train launches, they are on a collision course... The first train must enter the load station before the second one can launch...
-
SE Question
That sounds about right, but wouldn't it make more sense to put a wind gauge at the top of the top hat, rather than on the ground somewhere?
-
SE Question
I reckon there would be sensors on the launch track somewhere to do that. Maybe just after the brakes finish? A sensor on the very top wouldn't be able to identify a rollback, because it would sense the train going over the top and either continue over, or go back the way it came. Unless there are two separate sensors beside each other it wouldn't know the difference. Edit: I take that back, there are two sensors so it would make complete sense..... Don't mind me! :S

SE Question
This camera is pointing at the top hat, so the ride operator can see if the train clears it. Thats why I'd say the sensor is there for wind speed.
