  1. It still does, doesn't it? And that's odd to hear other people's experiences with wait times. I've personally never had to wait over 5 minutes for a ride, even on weekends and holidays.
  2. Fingers crossed for something other than DC.
  3. Okay, I'll admit that looks sort of, maybe, in a way, possibly cool. Okay it looks pretty awesome. Will Seaworld's version come with a free Intamin Gigacoaster too? By the way when I said the animatronics look crap, I think I was mostly focusing on the death leech stegosaurus thing. EDIT: Seaworld. I meant Seaworld.
  4. Unfortunately no pictures but I'll get some next time I go to Aussie World (which may actually be a while...)
  5. I agree operations and capacity are pretty crap on Cyclone, but I've noticed that it's not exactly the most popular ride. Even on busy days it seems to have a very short, or even nonexistent, line. I also agree with the people who say the ride itself isnt too bad, compared to other Arrow loopers I'd say it's quite smooth. I just hate the bulky OTSR's that prevent you from even putting your arms in the air. I think it'd be a good idea for DW to get the new Vekoma trains for the Cyclone, they seem to have great restraints that would eliminate any headbanging that the Cyclone has.
  6. I've noticed metal struts going up on the top of the flume. Looks like we're getting that "Shed" from the concept art after all!
  7. Cool, thanks for the info. Very strange.
  8. Bit of a weird question, but does anyone know what manufacturer made the Cyclone's trains? They certainly don't look like Arrow Dynamics trains, unless they were a once off?
  9. How hilariously, and unnecessarily, patronizing. It's quite easy to tell if animatronics look good or if they look cheap and fairly crap.
  10. I didn't even know there WERE 5 theme parks in Melbourne lol
  11. They're not even good looking animatronics... :/
  12. Verbolten sure looks awesome, miles ahead of Thirteen.
  13. I agree it's a bit odd to have two B&M megacoasters in the park, though I'm not sure the general public realizes, or cares. But I would've preferred to see Leviathan at a different Cedar Fair park.
  14. I guess, I guess it's just the fact it has no trim breaks (except on that little speed hill) that excites me. It definitely looks faster than Diamondback or Silver Star.
  15. Two awesome new POV's. X-Flight at Six Flags Great America, a B&M Wingrider. And of course Shambhala at Portaventura, a B&M hypercoaster that kicks Leviathan's sorry trim-braked arse.
  16. Pretty sure Dreamworld doesn't have a Dippin Dots stand, therefore the guy who told him must've been a fake and can't be trusted for reliable information.
  17. Skyrush looks incredible, the airtime this ride will deliver is bound to be incredible. It's quite a compact coaster too, I hope Dreamworld is watching
  18. The Dippin Dots guy told me they tore it up to replace it with a B&M Inverted Launched Standup Gigacoaster.
  19. Because crocodiles are fully dinosaurs... I would've liked it if they had a prehistoric sea creature exhibit focusing on "sea dinos", but this seems to be focusing on the usual - T-rex, Velociraptor etc. And sure, T rex could swim in the sea maybe. But so can hundreds of other animals today including elephants, and you don't see Sea World making an elephant exhibit. But I guess Underwater World had a similar thing and it worked, so meh. I'm just a bit dissapointed in Sea World's choice.
  20. Do T-rexes swim? No = Irrelevant to Sea World.
  21. I used to enjoy seaworld when I was younger. I went recently though, and only spent 2 hours there. After a few laps on Jet Rescue and a look at each of the animal exhibits we were done. But I guess it caters for a younger audience than me.
  22. Yeah I did think it was going a bit too slow at the end. It would've been good if the free fall element started higher up so the drop out of the mountain would give it enough speed to continue a fun ride. I will admit the theming in the rides drop section was a huge letdown, the only theming in there is a screen.
  23. I sincerely hope its not an Animatromic dinosaur exhibit like has been introduced at different Cedar Fair parks in the US.
