  1. I forgot just how awesome GCI Big Fun looks. After watching the video again, I agree it would be the perfect addition to Aussie World, though I still think Aussie World would be more likely to go for an looping coaster as, like I said, the GP love going upside down. Also, they wouldn't market it as Australias first wooden coaster as technically Australia already has 3 wooden coasters, and one of them is already at Aussie World. As much as I'd love to see a GCI Big Fun at Aussie World, I just can't see it happening.
  2. Fiorano GT Challenge isn't the best ride, plus it takes up a huge amount of space. Coasterwise, what Movieworld really needs is a B&M or, more likely, a GCI/GG/Intamin Woodie.
  3. In my opinion, a great second hand ride for Aussie World would be a Schwarzkopf Looping Star. Its cheap, compact and a fairly fun and it features a loop which the GP always love, and AW could market as their big new thrill ride as, despite the fact it'd be a small coaster, would dwarf anything Aussie World has currently. I'd love to see a Gerstlauer Eurofighter at Aussie World but it may be a bit too expensive for the park. And Gazza, I meant the combination of being inverted 6 times combined with the fact it goes backwards would make it seem OMFG amazing.
  4. They wouldn't hate it if it had the new restraints found on Carolina Cobra. Apparently the new restraints eliminate head banging, and the ride is actually fun.
  5. I think a Vekoma Boomerang would be a great addition to a park like Aussie World if it was fitted with the new trains as seen on Carolina Cobra at Carowinds. Think about it. It'd be the parks star attraction, it would be big and turn riders upside down 6 times PLUS go backwards which the General Public would find OMFG amazing. The only issue is with maintenance, it could easily drive a park like Aussie World to bankruptcy.
  6. They're probably not tearing down chinatown, more likely just re-doing the buildings to fit the new theme.
  7. Looks awesome, I saw this on TPR this morning, I didnt know you were a member of Parkz. What CTR are you using? (Sorry I sent you a PM asking this on TPR as well)
  8. Hopefully the replacement for Batman will be a good dark ride, though with the opening of GL and revamp of LW I dont see how they can afford it realistically. But I agree Movie Parks need dark rides. For example, Universal and Disney parks are full of them. We're lucky to have Wild West Falls and Scooby Doo which are two very well themed rides (and I guess you could throw in Superman there too).
  9. Thats because six flags parks dont have over half the park dedicated to DC heros, just one area in the corner or (more often) a few randomly thrown DC themed rides in areas of the park they don't belong.
  10. On Lethal Weapon, though disorganized, you can sort of choose to queue for front seat by going to the end of the nightmarish loading area.
  11. I usually ask for front seat on Superman. Unfortunately, last time I was there we got stuck in back row as a grumpy ride op condescendingly told me and my friend we had to go on order. She treated us like a teacher would treat a 6 year old and it really pissed me off. The line was only about 30 minutes long too, so its not like we'd hold up the line. The people behind us were willing to swap to let us be at the front too, but the evil ride op wouldnt have it as she told us we had to stay in order with a "smile".
  12. When I went last time nobody gut stuck in the loop, none of us were wearing rashies as that was their policy then.
  13. Front on superman, back can be (only slightly) rough. Also, the view the front supplies is unbeatable. Lethal weapon seems to be kind of ok in the middle, still painful, but not as bad as the back. The front seems rough too for some reason, but the middle is almost bearable.
  14. What makes you think we're not healthy But good tip, I'll try that next time.
  15. I hope people vote for the idea they like best, not how its presented. Not saying you only won for your presentation, MikeMac, you're a worthy winner, but its just something for voters to take into consideration. Just for future reference (again, I'm not saying it happened in this case as MikeMac had good ideas).
  16. That's probably a storage area. I doubt LTRR will also be replaced if LW is being rethemed and Batman is being demolished, seems like theres a replacement on the way for batman!
  17. I think our coaster lineup is a lot better. Their wooden coaster is apparently pretty average, and has no chance against Superman, one of the greatest Intamin Accelerators on Earth. But I'm jealous of their flat rides. There's a third Warner Bros park which was originally managed by Six Flags called Parque Warner Madrid. They have a B&M Floorless Coaster, B&M Inverted Coaster and a Vekoma Giant Inverted Boomerang. (They also have a quite terrible wooden coaster).
  18. Then again, the Universal parks in America are pretty bad (besides IOA). Plus, Universal Florida charges $85 for adults and $79 for kids for entry, that's even more expensive than Aussie parks.
  19. Its closed for heavy rain, light rain is ok.
  20. Far right side seems to be the most popular, unfortunately my friend got that spot. He said being on the edge on the outwards turn is terrifying. TBH, any seat in the front row is amazing.
  21. Nope I didnt get that feeling at all.
  22. Thats because, just like 90% of his posts, he's trolling the forums. On most forums he'd be banned by now.
  23. Main street looks great, nice custom scenery.
