  1. I think the parks should do what Six Flags do, which is add 1 new attraction (big) each year to each of their parks. Yes fix up things e.g. AA retheme (stuff like that) But have one main focus for a ride each year.
  2. I don't think they are that bad.. Scooby Doo is fast because it is just a simple lap bar.. Where as AA is new trains so you would expect some delays every now and then.. I think Superman is very fast TBH. They get you in pull the lapbar down yourself, do up your seatbelt, the attendent comes and checks it once and then they press the button. Maybe it was just the people you saw? not sure. Maybe some people had things in their pocket which caused a delay.. If you think about dreamworld..they are pretty slow. Wipeout, Claw, Buzzsaw (sometimes), MDMC, Shockwave. They all have pretty long times before the ride starts. Where as there fast loading times are probably TOT2 and GD. Just my opinion on my experiences..
  3. (Movieworld's Facebook) To celebrate the relaunch this weekend of Ricks Café Americain, we’re giving away 10 lunches for two! Ricks Café has undergone a complete renovation with an amazing selection of culinary delights from all around the world and there’s even soft serve Enter on the Win Tab NOW! http://www.facebook....366430453371233 Looks tasty
  4. I guess you can call the Madagascar Show their best (i have not seen it, just heard it was good). Although I do remember the Bushranger Show when i was a little kid and it was very entertaining I must say, loud gun shots makes shows better! If you think about it, Police Academy had gun shots and HWSD has gun shot sounds when the car breaks apart. Just loud sounds makes it entertaining and keeps you watching.
  5. Sounds like this is going to be a good attraction (for kids im assuming haha). Seeing as this is going to take them til summer to make and it's in the kids area, im seeing a well themed kung fu panda ride
  6. So she slid down? Didn't make it the whole way? Then couldn't find the hole? That's what she said.
  7. I would like to see them use the lake for effects of a ride. I would like to see the effects like Manta at Seaworld Orlando. I don't know..just thinking this because none of our rides seem to go over water or use water effects. Or is it just too costly or pointless because they stopped using water effects on Surfrider and they took the water out of Wipeout. I just think now Captain Sturt has closed down, they should use that space to advantage.
  8. I think Movieworld has done a sneaky job when they have advertised their new rides as Australian First & World first rides. Yes, Green lantern was an Australian first having a 120 degree drop..but the ride was basically like any other ride, just with a steeper drop at the start. Also with Arkham, They advertised this as a World First..but this was just the worlds first ride based on the game. Clever Movieworld, Clever.
  9. Stand up, Floorless, Flying...Something Australia does not have yet. I think that would get peoples attention!
  10. I love it too! Especially Friday Night Live! The games are so funny to watch haha
  11. You know what else I think would be 'cost saving'..Closing MDMC ahaha although that wouldn't happen
  12. True...When I was writing that I didn't think about people who come down for holidays..so I guess it's good for them. I still think movieworld has the upperhand at the moment and I guess we will just have to wait and see for dreamworld's new attraction. HOPEFULLY its a good one
  13. I know Buzzsaw is a thrill ride that is less than 12 months old, I just think it has died very quickly. I love the ride, but It's something I only think about doing once a day. Just my opinion..
  14. I just think Movieworld are smarter Spending money on one good attraction which is excellent for all ages..Where as dreamworld has spent their money on the kids area (which looks great, i know) and nothing for the thrill seekers. Yes, JL will not be a thrilling ride but it will definetely be enjoyable, thats for sure. Im hoping for a new attraction which will be for the older, more thrilling people. But I do doubt that :/
  15. I really don't think it will be that big of an attraction.. i mean they've put it as their last dot point
  16. Justice League recruiting now. Superheroes WANTED to defend the planet against alien invasion. “Like” to volunteer (Movieworld's Facebook)
  17. Sounds good So they are opening before the School Holidays for a change?
  18. According to Theme Park Social Network it opens on 16th of June. Not sure how they found out or if they are correct though..Has Seaworld said anything?
