  1. The gift cards didn't have a price when you were able to choose. Yeah, I needed to update the passes, thinking of going in December as I'm going to Europe next week.
  2. So, to my surprise today I received an email from Village Roadshow saying I had become a winner! I chose the 2xVIP passes out of 4x Reef Swim, 1night stay at Sea World Resort, 10x movie tickets and 2x MyFun gift cards. Did I make the right choice?
  3. Why would you bother arguing over it if you know you're wrong. Why would you argue with someone who is an expert (or so he says) in this? I honestly don't know why a group of adults can not get over someone's mistakes and just thank him for presenting new information to us all.
  4. I like the twist idea but mixing translucent sections with plain doesn't really seem that appealing to me. The white section doesn't either. I really want to know their reasoning behind colour choices.
  5. Why would you expect an apology? It's a rumor and it's not like you were the one that told everyone the truth beforehand as even if you get it right, it was still a rumor and not fact.
  6. Posted by Thrill Zone. It looks like this ride will be taking up the whole ride building What do you think?
  7. So is the way things go -welcome them in a friendly manner and then slowly bring out the sarcasm and put downs afterwards? Not saying that I have experienced this and I really don't care as long as I'm apart of Parkz (it's quite amusing).
  8. Good on him for going to ALL extremes, but what is the likeliness that we from Australia would actually go?
  9. Unless you are giving us a free holiday to EVP, what's the point in posting?
  10. We stayed at the Holiday Inn just down the road from Bubba Gumps and to your right, it was fantastic for such a cheap cost.
  11.     They just need to learn from the best...
  12. Hey AlexB, I believe the reason do this, as well as to improve guest experience - is to ensure repeat customers and keep their reputation high. Whilst you may think there is a multitude of other possibilities that ensure repeats, this can definitely add to it. You always have to think of Disney's sole objective, just as any other organisation - with the exception of Not For Profit - is to make a profit. Through this experience customers receive, they can go and share their stories, as you have just done, and advertise Disney through word of mouth. Whether this has any relevance, I don't care Just thought I'd share my reasoning behind the badges and other things which I'm sure is shared by many other members of Parkz.
  13. All I'm saying it's definitely possible to put a ride there, I really couldn't care less whether is be a show or a ride. It just got on my nerves that someone just assumes that because it was a show stage, there cannot be a ride in it, which is clearly not true.
  14. If this is a soundstage, as everyone says it is, it is MADE to fit giant pieces of set through it, those that are larger than an average earth mover. For all I care, put dingo's in there and do it that way... it would still make it possible. Even if it has been made to be a "show stage," does that mean what was once a showstage is now not. If you can actually 100% prove that there cannot be anything done to it other than another show, I will stand down my argument, but regardless of whether Movie World actually put a ride in there or not, it can still be done.
  15. I wish Nearmaps was free, they should at least have a limited number of times you can view the maps in a month or so. Who's saying they couldn't do a ride in a showstage, it's definitely possible considering they did one where Scooby is. Ninja, no offence, but don't say something unless it's 100% possible.
  16. Saw it too and thought it had to be something to do with it, that is definitely put there with intention.
  17. Maybe they can get some help from Disney with the cars considering the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
  18. Yeah Yeah I questioned that with Thrill Zone last night, they didn't seem to give a solid answer. I guess it's exactly the same because it is the sommerland coaster. Anyway, judging by the photos from the Parkz update, it will have the same layout.
  19. Couldn't agree more, but props to them if they are able to tell the story in that short amount of time. Or they will incorporate it in the queue and make that the climax....
  20. Posted on Thrill Zone International. Looks like the layout is exactly the same as the Sommerland Coaster. The theming better be amazing to make up for the layout. it's not confirmed yet though.
  21. I think we can pretty much confirm that it has the same layout (at least the coaster section) of the coaster above. That photo looks pretty much exactly the same to the layout of the Sommerland one.
  22. The layout can be changed, so the indoor section may be as slow as Splash mountain is in the indoor sections to allow for storytelling. That certainly fits the size of the bermuda area... maybe the helix type part could go back over the ride building
  23. Yeah, I feel like an idiot now - 1. Knowing that a vertical lift would need to be connected to track, not a section of flume and 2. That I have experienced that "kick" drop before From that angle it just looked incredibly steep
  24. Anyone have any ideas of what that part could be, looks incredibly steep for a little drop.
  25. They should fix it as it makes for a pretty infrequent form of travel...
