  1. It's been removed from the sound stage since the Halloween events, however it still played a shorter version under the big screen in Main street, How do you know there's a new show coming?
  2. I hope so, it is a very big building and they can expand across to the old Rocket Ride location
  3. It was pointed out by both Joz in the first post and MickeyD above that its not taking up the entire building, but hey call it a rumour if it pleases you.
  4. I'm sure everyone would have wanted something better in the LTRR building, but I think it's a good idea for kids, and parents with kids. Kids love to drive, and it would probably be a first for them (assuming its not like the other two driving rides in the area) which would be a proud moment for parents. If the execution of the "Mini Movie World" theming is done right, it would impress people of all ages.. "Yo dawg, we heard you like movie world so we put a movie world in your movie world so you can movie world while your at movie world." On another note, there's still more than half of the building for something else..
  5. Interesting, final artwork looks good enough but the boats look too photoshopped in my opinion. I don't see the building being themed to that boat in the picture (I'm fairly sure it's a shipwreck not a building) but I'm not crossing it out It's the Sommerland coaster used in the picture, I see the finished ride being similar with a few changes for the indoor portion. Can't wait to see more
  6. I also feel lockers are a fair idea. All rides at WnW and two at Movie world do not allow loose items and don't have storage bays, therefore paying $10 (or a $2 hour locker) is a great price to secure your $800 iPhone or keys to your $20k+ car. Also - to pushbutton, I'm pretty sure they have a coin operated locker section to avoid going into the shop. I would like to see Movie World follow through with that Retail/Shopping area idea they have for in front of the carpark.. I know it's not a new idea but it has alot of potential (looking at Universals Citywalk).
  7. WB kids doesn't own Movie World, neither does cheez tv or Dreamworks own Dreamworld.. It doesn't matter if its a sub-company because all licensing for Movie World goes through Warner Brothers.. It's a matter of getting it approved not having ownership.
  8. I love adventure time that would be sick
  9. Went to Movie world today, had a great time! You will be able to buy the footage of your ride at the Ride Photo Booth when they get it working.. it seems the parade has changed again too
  10. Was speaking to a friend from work who went to Movie World today, he said he saw boxes with the Fast Track logo on them inside the new Photo Booth, and he said the batwing has cameras that film the ride.. Has this always been there? I'm heading there on Sunday for Easter so ill have to check it out
  11. I have a good feeling it'll be where the Dino Island now stands aswell, no idea what they can do with it but I'm excited to see
  12. I wonder if they could incorporate a Ben 10 ride into this area? Given its now labelled a 'WB Kids" themed area, not necessarily Looney Tunes. Exciting they have finally planned something, it comes as a surprise!
  13. Not sure how many people remember, but as a kid I loved the old marvin rocket ride next to where the river ride exit once stood. They built a facade around it to cover it up after it collapsed, last time I checked some of the ride remains still lay there. I wonder if that space could be utilised in a better way
  14. ^^ I posted earlier in the thread but no one seemed to read it Since then i have driven past and despite swerving all over the highway i saw the TC drop zone has been removed along with the old ride tubes and there was machinery roaming around that area.. Something is definitely happening there and the ride pictured above seems like a close guess, seeing its at WNW Phoenix and fits the description.. can't wait to ride it if so!
  15. Pretty obvious where it's going but driving past today i noticed what looks like construction in it's early stages immediately behind the old terror canyon drop zone with alot of dirt which i'm pretty sure wasn't there before. I'm excited to see a new ride for Wet 'n Wild and i'm impressed with VRTP for their wise decisions on new attractions.. I think that is a brilliant idea! It would give a great effect to a somewhat outdated water ride. How old is that thing anyway?
  16. AlexB - I'm aware almost all lockers (beside one set of all-day at MW) between both MW and WnW are owned by someone else, and it works off a 60-40% type commission. I could imagine they pull in hundreds of thousands of dollars a year on the locker fees so I can only guess they increased the price (even if by a dollar) to try and improve the income for that particular division this financial year? Just a thought. However I doubt the loose items rule would be dropped seeing how close all the attractions are in the park to the general public, American theme parks are much more spread out with tree's and shrub to catch flung items (of course, not all). Even Dreamworld is more spread out, and they don't seem to be as strict.. Maybe MW are taking preventatives to keep them from any unnessacery law suits because people didn't "listen".. Customers never "listen" I also doubt they will give out free locker time, seeing the current system has been working smoothly for years.. I'm not complaining as they sure know how to spend the money we give them, am I right?
  17. haven't actually posted before but there's a first for everything I did the HSD Pit Pass and i thought it was good value overall, when i went about 4 months ago $179.95 got me special seats, a ride around doing the stunts for about 5 minutes (which was thrilling) while it recorded. I also got photos taken with the cars, a free lunch and a named coffee mug. Only saw the drivers again afterwards briefly and i dont think you can extend it but someone else who was in a different car had a problem with the recording so they had to go around again. With the itinerary, just get superman and arkham in early. I suggest catching the earlier HSD show at 11:50 (unless you get pit pass because i did it on the later show and ended up watching twice) i noticed scooby got quiet during the parade when i was there before christmas and im guessing GL the same (haven't been this holiday period) And on the topic of Arkham Asylum, it's amazing. ride it, enough said edit: yes you can also pre-book just call them to book a spot and pay on the day
