They're totally different rides though...

QLD holidays aren't the be all and end all, the other states make up a lot of the parks' visitors too.

When you are put with randoms on rides (single rider) sometimes you start up conversations while they do safety checks (because they are so efficient there is time). I spoke to at least 4 groups who were from Victoria...

The Sun can be a pain, especially with photos looking up at the rides. I find Buzzsaw looks the best later in the day, but that's just me.

The Dreamworld sign is just a fresh coat of paint and I stand corrected, the Ocean Parade sign is just a repaint but they removed the sand and beach ball from the bottom of it. I didn't get a 'site shot' this time but if you look from my photos last week you can see that it is positioned over near where Snack Attack is (it isn't centred on the site). If it is indeed for a Power Surge the other part of the site could be used for the coffee shop? I got this though, might help? That could be what the dragon is from. It's whatever movie they have that Dreamworks competition for. - - - - - The rest of the update: Over to Buzzsaw... Not sure what they were thinking when they originally designed Buzzsaw's queue, it now looks like it'll never be used again with a fence built at the gate and this put up above it for shade. The river didn't look very nice over near the Billabong Buffet Restaurant. Wasn't too bad over near the Motor Coaster though... Looks like some relatively new signs! But, it is Dreamworld. They were on a tight budget ok?! *Cue whining* Theming? "Twisty goodness!"

Here is another Dreamworld update for you all! It's back Looks nice too That was there advertising for a movie thats name has escaped me... Ocean Parade also got a new sign, so I guess that theme won't be changing anytime soon. Nothing really to see from the site of the new ride. But the concrete slab is looking increasingly ready for parts. Wipeout time The waves are back! Wipeout. Over to Gold Rush Country... Theming. Theming?

There were a lot of Victorians too, actually seemed busier last week than yesterday... (at Dreamworld anyway)

I got one but the others weren't picking up (too many background noises). If someone goes another night can they attempt to get a list of at least a few of the most played tracks?

If the event was such a flop why would they keep adding nights? I've been twice and wouldn't hesitate to go a third time. Also, does anyone have any track names for the music the dj plays? There's one track they seem to play more than the others and I can't find it.

Quick question, roughly what time does the parade at the end of the night start and when does the park officially close?

It's not just one night, Carnivale is on the 4th and 5th of July too.

I'd say it would be then. Lines would be a shocker though, especially for Carnivale.

I don't know, probably upwards of $30... You'll never see them on SE, they only use them for media events and even then they're strict on how many people can be in the train with a camera attached no matter how sturdy it is.

They sell videos of your ride for exceptional prices...

I'll be heading back out to Dreamworld tomorrow so I'll try to get some photos of progress on Wipeout and the new ride. See if anything has happened at WhiteWater World too. Is there anything else you guys want photos of?

How long was the line for SE? Were they at least running it efficiently with loading the gates before the train arrived...?

Is it possible they put a lower cap on numbers so they wouldn't run into issues with food supply?

Do you guys think there'll be anything interesting inside the wave? The surfboards desperately needed TLC...
