It doesn't have to be a 'thrill' ride, I think it'll be a great addition to the park (better than the Wedgie).

I have no say in the matter as I never visited around that time. But I personally think without losing all the arcade games the maze would be doomed like the one in the scooby queue.

Well the arcade isn't very big and the rest of the building has the bumper cars so...

No I knew you were being sarcastic, I was just making the point that I was speculating on its location.

The park always advertised 2 major attraction facelifts and a new coffee shop. I was just speculated on its possible location. I think it's a 'Tornado 12' by the sounds of it. Like what went into Aquatica in Orlando. EDIT: Just read the 'tornado 12' was formally known as 'topsy-turvy'

I was out there today but didn't get any photos (sorry!) The photo on that sign in ocean parade is relatively small and is blurry in parts so another photo of it wouldn't make much of a difference. What I did notice is that the 'drop zone' sign looks like it could be a dunk machine. I know its an edit of am old photo but it looks like there is a crazy ladder (whatever you call it) and a dunk machine. I might be very wrong but that's just my 2 cents. Also while in White Water World they were pouring more concrete on the footers so it looks like they are pretty much prepared for supports to start going in. I can also confirm that it will be a topsy turvy (the one which is 3 mini tornados, topsy turvy may be wrong). The lady's description was literally, "3 mini green room things which you can go single or double. My only though with that is the fact that it would more than likely require guests to carry their own tubes and if the stairwell is the same as the Rip's that won't be too much fun. Nothing much to say about Wipeout and the new thrill ride. I didn't see anyone on the Wipeout site but there was work going on over at the new thrill ride with no noticeable changes. What I did notice though is 4 or 5 shipping containers in the staff car park behind the Flowrider store. Possible for the slide to it won't be too long till things go vertical. I also noticed a banner on a light pole between the cinema and the 'fudge and nut' which said something along the lines of 'gourmet pizza and coffee shop coming soon". I didn't notice another banner like that in the park so is it possible it will be going into that area. Hope you had a ball digesting all that text.

They could always use another sound stage which isn't being used. It wouldn't be difficult to add another queue down the side of where you exit the other sound stages.

That rules out Power Surge (thankfully) and makes a Sky Fly look increasingly likely.

Yeah going through photos and posts etc I'm beginning to get the idea it'll be a Sky Fly themed to sea planes or manta rays or something sea themed. Still got fears it will be a Power Surge though. If that primary foundation is for the support, wouldn't the ride basically fly over Snack Attack and the Wipeout queue?

Did anyone say when it should open? Will it literally be a week because of the fence.

Can you try to video a cycle?

Welcome to parkz Peeeeter! 20th of September sounds like it's a pretty likely explanation, but knowing Dreamworld they won't commit to a particular date.

They're definitely Zamperla restraints... ...and it looks like a Power Surge. It's going to be a Power Surge. Sadly. EDIT: it is probably just a picture of Pandamonium. Still say it'll be a Power Surge though.

I'm not stupid... but it's such a dumb way to announce something. If they're going to make a big deal of it do it right.

Sorry if I'm a bit slow with this but the cover picture... the parkz update is looking like a good guess. Also, why don't they announce the ride then work on expanding their audience? They're doing this for nothing other than likes...

That 'hint' has been there for weeks...

It's an ordinary way to announce a new 'major' ride. Take a note from Holiday World or even a couple of the British parks.
