Doomsday Destroyer - 2016 Movie World construction

I think the whole western area will be extended through that smoking area beside WWF for the new coaster. As much as I'd like to see a woodie I wouldn't mind seeing a Verbolten style coaster incorporating the show stage. I know the 2nd idea doesn't really fit the western theme but it's a family ride which is still thrilling. As for the Doomsday ride... I know Intamin has been thrown around a lot but aride that I personally wouldn't be too disappointed to see would be the HUSS Jump2. -

Do you guys think there'll be some sort of 'vip' experience considering the introduction of the new passes at White Christmas? -
Movie World speculation and dreaming - 2015 edition

Nah it wasn't too bad. I actually found it harder to ride Hot Wheels Sidewinder twice in a row than AA 17... I actually didn't even notice my legs being sore at all which was interesting. Probably because I was so caught up with the rain. I think there are 2 main reasons they use AA and not SE: 1. AA only has 1 train operating which can justify small crowds (in my case 1 person) compared to the 2 trains SE which would mean sending out 15+ empty trains. 2. AA would require less power to run than SE so it's understandable. For them to operate AA for an hour for 1 person was a good deal as is so I wasn't complaining. -

I got into the park this morning at 8:30 on the dot and headed straight for AA. Did not see 1 other pass holder in the park till it opened at 9:30. Rode AA 17 times without getting out of my seat. The rain also made it super fun... -
I saw the show twice tonight... I'm sorry but there is no way she was a real DJ. She rarely looked down and actually mixed anything and when she did it was a second or 2 after the song transition. Defend it as much as you want but I thought it was cringe worthy. It was a cool show though regardless. Could've easily done without the DJ booth that's all.

CaddyShack in Christchurch is by far the best course I've ever played. Never seen anything match it anywhere else either. http://www.caddyshack.co.nz -

'World Best' Attraction coming to VRTP

The clearance shop will probably be temporary. I remember at one stage last year it was a candy store for a short period then it disappeared. Not sure what the building is anymore really. Other than the Terror Lounge it has no real purpose anymore. -

and look at how that worked out... -
I think it improves the experience tbh. Especially the vortex effect on the way back to the station with the lights. It's something that TOT2 has over SEFK anyway (it made a difference for me). The tunnel also makes the ride easier to run after rain, correct me if I'm wrong but it keeps the brakes dry when it does rain so it doesn't impact operations as badly as it used to. Also another question: does anyone have any idea how many Gs Tail Spin pulls when you get the plane continuously rolling? I went on it a few times yesterday and got it spinning continuously (flipped 102 times one of the rides) and when I got home my face was all red like I bursted a whole heap of blood vessels. When you get into a continuous roll the forces you feel on your face are insane. So yeah any ideas?

How insane is this? Imagine if that happened here... Just imagine.

The ride had a brief appearance on 7 News earlier tonight after their story on the new Soundstage at the studios. They said the ride has been under hundreds of hours of testing and they hope to have it open again soon. The website says before Christmas. Whilst the snippet on the news was only tiny and went into little to no detail they said Movie World confirmed that the accident occurred due to a fault in the design of the wheels and not a maintenance issue. I know we've pretty much established that already but it's out there for the GP now.

I think it's worth noting too the whales in SWUS (the whole point of Blackfish) are kept in small enclosures. How do you see whales at SWGC? Oh that's right you hope on a boat and go out to sea. Honest question, how are, as the GP, supposed to do our bit to save wildlife if we know nothing about it? That's why we have zoos and marine parks. There's this term called edutainment. Entertainment while learning. Have you seen the dolphin show before? It literally spends the duration of the show talking about the history of dolphins and facts about how and where they live. Is that what you call doing tricks for entertainment?

Personally I had more fun in the Wormwood room but maybe that's because of the people I was there with. I'm not going to say what you could do in there in case anyone is going next weekend.

This didn't make my experience unpleasant, but I was surprised to see someone 2 people ahead of me in the conga line pushing a stroller which a 5 year old in it. Bad parenting much?

I'm at the park now and I noticed this. Not sure if it actually means anything but there you go. The 2nd one is harder to see but there are 2 people working on the track.
