As you know the opening night of Movie World's Fright Nights is in a little over a week. I will be attending that night with the Ultimate Terror Tour. I know there is already a Fright Nights topic but I thought I'd make this breakaway thread as an easier way for me (and others) to share their experiences of the tour for those who aren't lucky enough to attend. The first point I have is this. A part of the night is a Q&A with some of the Fright Nights team and although I have some questions in mind, is there anything you guys are interested to find out about? I'll see what I can do about recording responses.

Will do! I'll check it out, don't be surprised if it is completely done. Correct, I never got around to it due to issues with uploading to the forum. I'll try again. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Here are some photos from Tuesday: Looks like it could easily be out of a Jungle Cruise esque attraction, but nope, it's just sitting there rotting away. At least the water is relatively clean. Then you look behind the log ride... Crazy hair day over at the Dreamworld Woolshed. The kangaroos were a favourite among the tourists. What you looking at fool? Sometimes you forget these even exist. None of these people did. Then there are those attractions you wish to forget. Hoorah. Hope you enjoyed the pictures. If you want to see the full resolution photos, check the link in my signature. When I go down tomorrow I'll also try and get some Screamworld shots which should be up sometime Saturday.

Forgot to mention, Reef Diver is still in the car park behind WWW in pieces. Not sure what's going to happen with it, if anything.
-
Do you really think they'd remove an upcharge for a month?
-
Yesterday at Dreamworld: - The Claw: Within 2 cycles - Wipeout: First cycle - Pandamonium: Within 2 cycles - Tailspin: 25-30 minutes - Other rides like TOT2 have long waits but that's no different to quiet days. Also, at WWW the longest queue was about 15 minutes and that was for the hydro coaster. Most slides were pretty much walk ons.
-
Yeah well obviously that would be dramas. Are there no lights back there what so ever?
-
That is the only reason it could work. With actors being around every corner there would be a level of control with keeping people in boats. I'm sure the actors could police this even if it meant going out of character to fix the problem.
-
It won't happen, but wouldn't it be cool if they did something to WWF? Make it a real ghost town and have actors jump out as the boat goes around behind the mountain. You could even have actors where the turntables are. It'd be a nightmare to operate but it'd definitely be something.

It was busy yesterday but the lines were still manageable. These were the waits I remember: - The Claw: Within 2 cycles - Wipeout: First cycle - Pandamonium: Within 2 cycles - Tailspin: 25-30 minutes They're the rides I did but no other queues looked any worse (apart from the obvious TOT2 and Cyclone). It wouldn't be a bad decision to visit now.

No they haven't...

Wasn't it just this morning AlexB was complaining about people complaining about the amount of photos being shared here? Um.... - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Anyway, back to Dreamworld! I went out to the Dreamworld Corroboree too yesterday to see what it is all about: One of the signs leading to the area. Some aboriginal art is seen around the area. Inside the Corroboree, guests are welcomed by a large Indigenous map of Australia on the floor. Queensland on that map. There is a large screen which shows a film a few times throughout the day. The rest of the building is made up of information about Indigenous Australians. There was someone outside explaining the didgeridoo to people and playing it for them. How could you forget the souvenir store?! Again, hope you guys enjoy the update. I have a couple more photos of some animals and the lake which I will be posting tonight. If you guys have any questions feel free to ask. Also, if you want to see the full sized images click on the link in my signature. Don't get on your high horse and have a whinge about me 'advertising' my page. If you don't want to see full resolution images, it's simple, don't click the link.

They might be using the area near WWF as a scare zone and there might be a maze back there which would be great!

If I'm posting my photos to multiple sites (which I do) I'm not going to upload them in 5 different places. I upload them to 1 site and use them all from there. I post these pictures for everyone's benefit, I get absolutely nothing out of it and if you don't want me linking photos to my Flickr then I guess this forum will have to go without then. I didn't bother riding it yesterday but from the outside I didn't notice anything different. The only thing that might interest you is when I rode last Wednesday the dinosaur straight out of the tunnel had full movement which I hadn't noticed before.

Dreamworld Update - September 23, 2014 Here are some more photos from around the park for you guys: Lets go ride Tailspin! Oh wait... There's also this sign for Ocean Parade when coming from the Land of Awesomeness. Ocean Parade is easily the most popular part of the park at the moment. Animals have been included in the new painted walkways. Really love Wipeout, and the water was working all day. New outlet added. Not just any game site... it's an AIR CONDITIONED game site! The first half of the fences have been completed next to the rapids. Something I never noticed before, thought it was cool. Hope you enjoyed this update, if you have any questions feel free to ask. I also went to the back half of the park and checked out the Dreamworld Corroboree. I will post those pictures later.

They work for me? -
Tailspin - September 23, 2014 Can't get enough of Tailspin, here are some more photos of it: The ride has a large presence in Ocean Parade. The entrance looks great. Really like the logo. For all you curious souls. They've had merchandise on sale opposite the entrance. Prior to takeoff. The 'docks' look really good. Unsure how long the colours on the planes will last. It's good for now though.

White Water World Update - September 23, 2014 Yesterday I went out and rode Triple Vortex and really enjoyed it. Be warned, if you go out expecting a thrill you will be disappointed but it is definitely a solid addition. There are brand new topsy turvy inner tubers for the ride which are for two people but unlike most slides the bigger person sits in the front not the back. Also, you are able to sit in the front and ride solo which is a plus. Anyway, onto the photos: The new slide is quiet colourful compared to most of the others which have badly faded. This is the slide's run out lane which is across the path from The Rip. It is also where guests wait for rafts. Guests then make their way past some new landscaping and towards the BRO stairs. The slide begins from an extension of the tower, accessed from the BRO stairs. After riding down the slide... you end up here. It's a solid addition. They've done a good job fixing up the gardens around the ride. Well, mostly. Hope you enjoyed this update, if you have any questions feel free to ask. -
With the whole counting thing I meant that I thought it'd be difficult to keep count while on the ride but I stand corrected, it isn't too difficult after all. In fact, I counted a total of 55 revolutions in one ride which is kinda ridiculous for how long the cycle runs. Anyway, I'll have some more Tailspin photos here in the morning for you guys.

You counted how?
