  1. It feels like such a scummy thing listing the AfterPay pricing front and centre.
  2. There's a difference with running the exact same boat with different theming, than running a fundamentally different vehicle from what you intend on operating when open? The point is, Dreamworld's website is still saying "brand new vehicles" yet their CEO has said they're not getting new ones, besides 2 for accessibility reasons, and that they would just be rebuilding the current ones. What we're seeing in Ogre's photo is literally solidifying this point...
  3. It's almost like I flagged this a month ago, and was shut down as it being false. Wouldn't you do that with one of your new vehicles if you had them? Does not serve any good purpose running a different vehicle to what is intended.
  4. Besides the corn, where are the fake plants at Oz?
  5. I don't think he/she is physically capable of such restraint.
  6. Motocoaster has been pushed back again, this time until the 30th November.
  7. Generally nights are added for WC each year, after the announcement, depending on ticket sales, and aren't on the calendars above.
  8. This is a great sign that we will be getting this entrance opened again! How good.
  9. I'd imagine that's possibly part of the reasoning as to them removing them?
  10. As I understand it, bulk of the commissioning process takes place by the property. Manufacture runs the first cycles, before it's handed over to maintenance, and then to operations to complete the required cycles. Bulk of the work takes place by DW, hence my comment on them commissioning the attraction. Enough clarity for you champion?
  11. Mental gymnastics working hard here mate. I articulated what he said in the earnings calls. First as an approximation, then verbatim, both times were still not good enough.
  12. The discussion was regarding budgets, and the additional costs associated with conducting commissioning outside of standard hours. I proposed a question as to if this money was reassigned away from purchasing new vehicles for the attraction. I was then questioned and told that they are still getting new vehicles, contradicting what the CEO of the park had said. Regardless of the evidence presented, it was shutdown. That is all.
  13. It's called a discussion no? I couldn't care any less, than defending the statements that I made.
  14. How so? At no point does he say new (when talking about the whole fleet), he says rebuilt & rethemed. The only time he mentions new, is ONLY about the TWO wheelchair accessible vehicles. How does this fly in the face of those comments? Are you saying Greg is wrong in what he is saying? I've also contacted the park directly just now, they replied with: "We can't wait to welcome you on Murrissippi Motors when they open, though you'll have to wait a littleeee while longer for all the details. We promise it'll be worth it!" if they were still indeed new cars, you'd be articulating that to guests right, especially when it's mentioned on the website?
  15. To which part? Skirting around a lot of evidence for that reply.
  16. I'm literally articulating what the CEO has stated publicly?
  17. Completely different situation. If you're saying BRAND NEW VEHICLES, then they are new, from the ground up, not rebuilt. Are you saying that Dreamworld are that incompetent they've bought new vehicles with the wrong theme, and are needing to retheme them on site? If not, why would you mention "retheming"?
  18. See above. If you're building something new, are you rebuilding? If you've bought something new why are you "retheming"? Earlier in the year as I've stated, he says they're happy to announce they're building 2 NEW custom vehicles for accessibility. If you've purchase more than 2, why are you not spruiking that more than only mentioning 2 vehicles?
  19. Oh you mean like this one where Greg says they're building 2 custom vehicles? Does that mean we're only getting 2 vehicles on track? If you're building all new vehicles, you're not "retheming" something, are you? It would be new, so why would it be mentioned. Same goes for completely "rebuilding" them. If they're new, you're not rebuilding anything. https://portalapp.loghic.eventsair.com/VirtualAttendeePortal/algfy24hy/alg230224/ 24 minutes in. No assumptions here mate, just going off what I've heard/been told/seen in pressers.
  20. 23 mins in, https://portalapp.loghic.eventsair.com/VirtualAttendeePortal/575858/680291/ "The ride vehicles are being rebuilt and rethemed, with two being designed for easy wheelchair access" The operator is the one to commission the attraction. Regardless of how you look at it, would you not agree that having to do this process in the hours in which they are, would not have been their first choice?
  21. Greg confirmed in the latest earnings call that they're reusing the old vehicles now, and have only purchased two new ones for the accessibility ones. DW would be paying, because it's their staff doing the commissioning. It's their choice to move it to after hours...
  22. I'm unsure as to why you would plan it this way? It puts an unnecessary strain on the general workforce, plus costs more, maybe that's why they couldn't afford new Vintage Cars anymore? Is it worth pulling operations staff, maintenance staff and other stakeholders out of the park, to have them on an alternate shift? Like what they've done for Motocoaster for example?
