  1. This can be answered on February 24th once the findings have been released. “• The findings required by s.45 (2) of the Coroners Act 2003; namely the identity of the deceased person, when, where and how they died and what caused the death. • The circumstances and cause of the fatal incident on the Thunder River Rapids Ride at the Dreamworld Theme Park, which occurred on 25th October 2016.“
  2. I thought it was just a really late replacement for the Eureka Mine Ride
  3. They said both Port Orleans Riverside and a moderate or deluxe resort as well, with the B resort being in between those two stays.
  4. Just to clarify this part, Magicbands are supplied for free if you stay at a Disney Resort. They’re just a basic colour that you can choose on your reservation, and you can then purchase one with a design on it or customize one.
  5. There is the Coca Cola store in Disney Springs which has a selection of the international drinks that were offered at club cool, but no Beverly (un)fortunately. Club Cool will return though in a new location as part of EPCOT’s redevelopment.
  6. I remembered seeing a person post on their page asking about the rule change, and I went back to find their response which according to them is a change in manufacturers guidelines
  7. Ohh, this is my specific area of expertise. I worked that ride back in 2016. So the orange side will have you feel 2.5g’s when it’s spinning at its maximum speed of about 60km/h. It does 3 spins like this lasting around 30 seconds each, total ride time is around 4min 20sec. It is also a pretty enclosed space inside the capsule, so not recommended if you have claustrophobia (if you do and want to try it, let the cast member know and they can close the capsule for a few seconds and then re-open it to check if you’re okay with how enclosed it is). With all that said, it’s a great ride experience and really thrilling. The best way to avoid motion sickness on the ride is to always keep looking straight ahead at the screen.
  8. Ok, so I made a mistake since I don’t post here often. You could’ve simply said that straight up instead of being a smartass about it. If I could edit the post, I would. So I’ll add the credit here to please you. https://cruisingtheparks.com/2019/10/05/breaking-incident/
  9. The new Disney Skyliner has had some gondola cars collide at the Riviera Resort Station, with guests slowly being evacuated
  10. Grabbed a few snaps of the slide pieces from the entrance while picking up my season pass
  11. Pretty much sounds like it, except with a result that changes based on guest participation whereas Mission space is just "computer override" -> "congratulations, you made it to mars" if you don't push your button on time. Which does make me wonder what happens in the case of not having a full "crew" for your ride on smugglers run.
  12. I guess the problem here is that the billboard doesn't say "coming/opening soon" or "now open", so people who see the advertisement would most likely assume that they're advertising an open attraction.
  13. Yeah, its a bit about gaming the system and that most of the tier 2 rides at EPCOT will 90% of the time be walk on's. Mission: SPACE is a weird one because the More Intense side can get multiple delays in rapid succession from people vomiting which is why a fastpass for it can be handy if there is a downtime. I'm not entirely a fan of the tiered system but I can understand why it is needed so that everyone has the chance to book a fastpass for the more popular attractions.
  14. With the way EPCOT works their tiered fastpasses, Spaceship Earth is basically a burn card and why you'll see it in my list. The only other rides you have in the tier 2 passes are Mission: SPACE (my other choice), living with the land, Nemo, Pixar short films, figment and turtle talk.
  15. My choices for fastpass selection MK: Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain EPCOT: Test Track, Mission: SPACE, Spaceship Earth HS: Slinky Dog Dash (newly opened), Rock n Rollercoaster, Tower of Terror AK: Flight of Passage, Kilaminjaro Safari, Expedition Everest I was a Cast Member at Mission: SPACE back in 2016 so if you have any questions about the parks I can try and do my best to answer them.
  16. It's pretty much this. I remember seeing construction zones backstage for the Frozen Ever After ride at EPCOT when I worked there. I didn't see what signs they had up exactly because I never had to go past that area (I could see them from the area I had to walk through to get to my break room), but I do recall seeing some signs on the fence that was at the entrance to the construction zone. All the access points will be from some backstage area.
  17. I worked there for a year last year in EPCOT at Mission: Space, so I can definitely help you out with WDW. At EPCOT you'll find that Soarin', Test Track and Frozen all generally have rather long wait times, and I'm pretty sure from memory that they're all in the same Category for Fast Pass (there's two categories, and you get to pick one from the first and two for the second). If you enjoy the more thrilling rides, then Test Track would be the best choice. Mission: Space is mostly a walk on, depending on season and popularity during the day. I highly recommend seeing Illuminations: Reflections of Earth at night, it's their fireworks show. You can see it from anywhere around world showcase as it is all done over the lagoon. Don't worry about a fastpass for that, it just gets you into a reserved area. There's a really good spot near the Germany Pavilion boat ramp just behind a glass shop stand, it has a really good view of all the fireworks and usually not many people there. MK I suggest pretty much everything, I personally like doing the Three Mountains (Splash, Space and Big Thunder). I haven't seen the new fireworks show in person since they changed it at the start of this year, but I did watch it online and it is amazing. Same with the projection show that is 15 minutes before the fireworks. Pirates of the Caribbean is also a good ride, and also the Jungle Cruise if you get a good Skipper. HS is undergoing a huge facelift at the moment and has quite a small amount of rides operating at the moment. I only ever really went on Star Tours, Tower of Terror, Toy Story and Rock n Rollercoaster. Great Movie Ride got shut down and is being replaced with a Micky and Minnie ride, but unsure of an estimated opening date on that. Fantasmic is their nightime show there, and it is really cool. A good way to finish off the day. AK You'll definitely want to book a fastpass for Kilimanjaro Safari's, that line can get long very quickly and delays can occur from animals deciding to plonk themselves in front of the vehicles and not move. Expedition Everest, Dinosaur, Kali River Rapids (if it's warm enough) are good. There's a nighttime show there that I haven't seen but heard mixed reviews about. If you have any specific questions, let me know and I'll try my best to answer them.
  18. Triggered. Every time I hear or see this word now all I can think about is this. 45 minutes at a time listening to this on loop. It's both a nice flashback and a horrifying memory of the dreaded Re-Entry Specialist (exit) position.
  19. Haven't been asked if I work there yet @Theme Park Girl, but I've got experience with interactions like these since I worked in attractions at WDW last year. Defending a theme park? Unheard of! Where's my pitchfork?
  20. I have to admit, I'm having fun in the comment section of the news articles. It sucks that they're still posting these articles, but it's a chance to try and show people the other side of the story when they say that the park or ride should be shut down because of the issue at hand.
  21. Wait, you went in with a group of 5 at EB Expo? I tried that and we were told it was 4 max. I was at the back of the group and got chased by the keeper. That thing makes you run when he charges you from his cage with his hammer (didn't scare me, but definitely made me run ). It was fun for a 90 second version.
  22. This one is being developed by Pipeline Software, not Frontier developments like previous titles. Atari are still the publishers. No micro transactions in this one like there are in RCT4 Mobile.
