  1. Youtube guy must have been one of these tour guides(same one?).... oh well, at least there WAS a source for this one.
  2. 1) Police Academy Stunt Show... Loved it, Hated the film franchise, but loved the show. 2) Eureka Mountain Mine Ride. 3) Bermuda Triangle(never rode it, but that's only more reason to miss it) 4) Thunderbolt
  3. Was more of a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fan.... 1987(1989 in Australia) edition. Although Kimberly was hot!
  4. Easy to fix... Appeared to state it in his comments and the videos that were on his page. I wonder if this guy is the same source who talked to this user here.
  5. Sea World has the best shows of the three parks, but the ride options were limited last time I went. Sea Viper and Jet Rescue are great rides, but they do need more. So I fail to see how the addition of Storm wouldn't help improve their standing... Of cause it will.
  6. Please provide your source.I was also told this recently on YouTube by a guy appeared to be a park ranger.
  7. Cool. Sounds right. I am really going to Perth in January(Will leave Seaworld's Storm for next years holiday)...
  8. https://www.facebook.com/92438924563/timeline/story?ut=43&hash=8709415318751590234&wstart=0&wend=1372661999&ustart&refid=17 What are those poles for?
  9. may as well put Frankston Aquatic on there with those 2 new slides.
  10. Now can they start moving in the right direction? Please let this new guy come up with a plan to actually spend money on doing the park up. Also does anyone know yet what this "New Attraction" actually is?
  11. Any development that will bring jobs is a good development.... Whether or not it can sustain those jobs is where the "possibly a silly idea" comes into it. There is certainly interest for a "Chinaland" rather than the usual "Chinatown" development, but area choosen doesn't seem quite right to me(could be proven wrong though). Perhaps in Canberra(seems right for this sort of thing... don't know why though), or my own City, or Bendigo, at maybe $100 to $150 million. Established Chinese communities in these areas could support a bigger tourism development in my view. But $500 million in a NSW town no one has heard of does sound a bit too much of a business risk, even to me. Our Chinatown communities use to be a magnet for Asian migration and tourism, but they've lost alot of that special historical appeal as suburban communities have grown, and in my city, since the Casino opened up. I think a "new magnet" is needed, but not in country NSW. I guess, however, that the company has already bought the land, so unless they're a fake-company(planning to sit on it for years, as the value rises), something is probably going to be built there soon. Also: http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/newslocal/central-coast/earlier-start-likely-on-warnervale-chinese-cultural-theme-park/story-fngr8h0p-1226665388574 I guess that's the company logo in the background.
  12. Doubt it, not an established franchise yet.
  13. Probably I agree. Still any development in this country is better than nothing... Just not necessarily this particular idea, or for that matter, Palmer Jurassic Park as well.
  14. http://www.chinadaily.com.cn/life/2013-06/19/content_16636397.htm Still on the cards.
  15. I'm officially going to Perth in January... Going to try and bus it across the Nullabor, stop in Adelaide for a short while(Day or so)on the way over. Want to get there the Long way by land and take it all in. Probably fly back to Melbourne. Considering the train, but will go cheapest land way over(and I'm told that's bus). Taking a friend that lives over there to the Park. Booking it on Friday next week. Ticket budget overall is $500, which should more than cover it(if I don't want to stay anywhere, otherwise I'd need about $800, considering it) given $140 is the cost for a return flight. Seriously considering driving it, but my car is an old bomb now. Would have to service it good. Would make there(with a few stops) but doing the drive twice would be a problem.
  16. More pictures are on the site now. Concrete area(Queue and Station?) groundwork looks done.
  17. It's changed a little cosmetically(and not for the better), but the ride experience is still pretty awesome. Been on it three times. 1988, 2004, 2012... Still my favourite ride at the park.
  18. After now reading them, I'm not surprised about the reviews, I think most critics are disappointed Brandon Routh wasn't actually given a second chance. The only issue with that film was that they didn't put enough action in the plot. Critics mostly praised Routh as a worthy successor, but blasted the film for being slightly too much of a rehash. A reboot didn't seem like a bad idea at the time, but in hindsight WB should have had more guts and gone for a more action packed sequel, still tied to the Donner films(Doomsday or Bizzaro as the Villian!) WB seems a bit unsure of how to proceed with Superman. Perhaps neither film will be made now? Some reviewers have said Green Lantern was actually "better"... Maybe their best option is to go with Flash or Wonder Woman instead of straight to a MOS 2 OR a Justice League? If Justice League goes forward, they might really need Christian Bale after all...
  19. I half agree with you, But my point is, WB have done that before. Several times during the Harry Potter series(which obviously called for it given they wanted the same Actors throughout 7 film shoots), and previously attempted by the same studio the first time a Superman film was made. Don't be surprised if it happens again. After they saw what a jugganaut The Avengers was, it's likely to have fast tracked Justice League. Studios are like that, if they smell a cash cow, they start acting like sharks that have just smelled blood.
  20. Any one with more updates? I was told the ride may be open before Christmas. I'm planning a January trip to Perth.
  21. http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=105557 Wrong. They want both to hit soon. Like Iron Man 3 and The Avengers did. That probably means they're going back-to-back. Ironic, because Superman was the first property WB tried this with all the way back in the Reeves era. "it seems fast" yes, but it's not like they didn't attempt this once before(before Donner got sacked and they had to reshoot Superman 2). Heck they could even write both films as one screenplay with an intermission. That's how they wrote the last Harry Potter film, and how Mario Puzo originally wrote Superman(1 and 2).
  22. The Justice League film is due in 2015(at the earliest), and his character will NOT be rebooted from what has been revealed about it at this early stage. Reynolds has about a year or more to decide if he wants to be involved(it should shoot late next year), and I think they should at least offer him the script so he could read it. Movies take at least 5 years(on average) from story conception to the Silver Screen. They're not like rides, they can take many many years(some have taken almost 20 years of "development hell", Superman Returns... Mad Max 4....Indiana Jones 4)
  23. It was kinda tied into the film in the first place anyway. But yeah this was in response to his "make it a film theme" challenge.
  24. Scooby Doo was a shit film as well... Didn't affect the ride. Actually kindof was a good thing for the ride. Besides Ryan Reynolds is set to be in a sequel(successful enough) and also the upcoming Justice League film(in the pipeline). So it's got a longterm future from what I can tell. Superman should recieve a makeover in the Queue area also. Tie it a little to the Henry Cavill incarnation(Fingers crossed it's a great film!!!), wouldn't take much. Not sure how they'd do it, but it would be more interesting.
