  1. Ok I accept that. But I also expect an apology when it turns out to be true.
  2. It has been push "seriously" by other users on Facebook. One person even claims they know what exact model it is(and has posted a video of another installation).
  3. Nope, the ride's construction pictures gives it away as an expensive low to the ground coaster. It fits the profile of a Eurofighter, in particular with the POV vid of the similar coaster in the thread. Also it has been "seriously" claimed by other people over on Facebook, so im not the only one who noticed. It could also be either a Motocoaster(we already have 2!) or a spinner but it LOOKS like they're preparing the ground for a Eurofighter. The rumoured manufacturer is naturally Gerstlaurer(once again not me who said that).
  4. The track has started leaving Europe in crates, no image of the track yet though, only pictures of the first crate departing. 48 crates apparently(big ride? Seems it is). They're using a German shipping company, but I'm not sure that's important, could be though.
  5. Dear AlexB, Obviously I was making the statement with reference to the fact it has occurred in the past for a llllllooonggg time and is therefore 90%-100% likely to continue. Also concerning the other thing, it is a Eurofighter and I expect an apology when that is formally confirmed. They just uploaded a pic of the first "of 48" creates departing from a secret location in Europe being sent out by a German shipping company. Yes it was a guess, but it was a good one.
  6. Jetstar has a price matching deal, I think it's still their policy. Basically you will get 10% off the price of another airline if you inform Jetstar that the other airline has a similar flight that's cheaper. You may not use it, but it is handy to know if you're really cash strapped. You'll save quite a bit using it(especially off Jetstars' Standard prices). Handy for everyone to know I guess. It means Jetstar always ends up being the cheapest, but this is obviously a "published in small print" deal so they can still sell full-priced fares for most customers. So go to Webjet, find the cheapest flight, then find the nearest Jetstar flight. Then book through Jetstar and get the same cheap "other airline" price + a further 10% discount on top! Although the deal doesn't include any baggage deal that might come with the other airline, it usually still ends up being cheaper even with checked baggage added. ....if you're willing to put up with average service(My last flight was delayed by 3 to 4 hours!). Details: http://www.jetstar.com/au/en/what-we-offer/our-guarantees/price-beat-guarantee P.S. Don't worry about that June 2013 cutoff date, the deal is reviewed and extended every six months so it will be there for you in Feb 2014.
  7. Pointing out someones' minorly amusing mistake! Poking fun at them!
  8. I know someone has probably said this already but the ride is opening in September. Not that long to go now!
  9. The POV vid he made for the ride was awesome. Best POV Ive seen of it.
  10. It's usually about 6 to 8 months in advance. Most Rides are on during Summer. I wouldn't worry too much about it. Ask Seaworld about roughly when "Storm" opens and book it in after that.
  11. Except it's on the "Model Type" tag apparently, which does certainly indicate it. And as I said, this could be indicating BOTH, as it DOES means both. It could be translated as both "Small Model" and at the same time alternatively as "Standard Model".... Hence your comment "EVEN if it was, it would be the incorrect word to use, and I don't believe a German company is going to get their words mixed up..." isn't really correct, considering it clearly IS the correct word to use because it IS the "small model" and also because the word is correctly used and also translates as the "standard/usual model". Both pretty much means the same thing! How can you not equate "Standard" and "Small" when it comes to a ride? Usually non-standard models of well themed rides like this ARE BIGGER than off-shelf standard versions. So the Klein model is the standard/smaller one... HENCE IT'S THE CORRECT WORD! So why are we argueing? I agree with your last comment.
  12. Yep, but the park is clearly new so that's fairly normal till their own coaster is there, and it looks like one is planned or being built. I hope we get more corporate presence, not less.
  13. It actually means both. But he clearly didn't follow it up. It's a more general term than our English word equilivent "Small". It can also be used to mean "usual", "ordinary" or "standard". It mostly really means insignificant, which Germans also take to mean small, as they use generalised terms for size, shape and volume. For example, there is no direct German word for tall, they use the word gross, which directly means big and also great/unique in english. If you wanted to call someone fat in German, you would use the same word. Some basic info: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20120404235641AAGx7bJ I apologise. Next time Linus, please make sure you don't just look at an immediate dictionary definition and think that it's exactly the same as the English usage and English word. German doesn't work that way all the time. I apologise for calling you an idiot.
  14. It is correct, one of the possible translations is "usual" or "ordinary". Meaning we are getting the usual, ordinary or standard model. Next time you say something with confidence, make sure you get it right too. Idiot.
  15. There's two coasters in their websites header. And the red "Superman Escape" looking one clearly appears in their simulated layout video about halfway through. This park must be very new, lots of promises of upcoming expansion and "future attractions"... They must have just opened up.
  16. Your website needs some work. For example, there's no attractions list, so even though it looks like you've got a few rollercoasters, can't find any info on your site.Otherwise the park looks pretty good for an Indian one.
  17. Klein means standard or usual, or insignificant. It's the model type. It just means we're getting the standard model, as in the one also installed at Sommerland, etc.
  18. yeah.... that one was a real dud come to think of it... Probably got it's opening temporarily confused with Dreamworld or SeaWorld.... what an idiot I am sometimes, even I should have known that, it was my favourite attraction the first time I went.
  19.     Yes, I can see that point now. It would help the foot traffic for sure, but just like with that gate at Seaworld, it would mean people could bypass the shops if they wanted to go from DC Zone to the Western area.. which is clearly a no-no economically. Also probably would not be a good idea in terms of a fire/emergency plan... obviously if something occurs in the Scooby building, MW would want quick access to the rear of it. Damn.
  20. Thanks. As I said, even though it's right there over the back, the layout still dictates you have to walk all the way around anyway. And I was referring not just to the Station(yes Scooby is there, I knew that) but to the track as well(I think it's only a wall seperates them there at the back). I was wondering if it was possible to put a path through there, perhaps going from the main section of the Hub, through under the ride. If it's definitely not, I guess that option is out. Yep, according to the Park map Scooby ends near the Arkham Station, and certainly at least on the Park Map, it looks like a shortcut could be punched through the wall. On Satellite no.... too much back of house stuff there, bad for theming. Still it looks like a path up there probably would help people get through from the DC area to the Western area a heck of alot quicker. Guess they'd rather route them through the Main Street shops though, as usual.
  21. It's right near Arkham, I think only a wall or disused area/building seperates them. But yeah you do have to walk all the way around the otherside anyway, and you can't get through directly there. It seems like the opposite end because of that, but it's just over the otherside of Arkham. I was thinking, is it possible for them to punch a hole through and make it part of the Gotham theme? That's kinda where I was coming from here.
