I didn't realise Flying Dinosaur was already open. I thought it was still under construction.... -

I believe DW lowered the speed from 160 km/h to 120 km/h for safety, as noted in a thread posted several months ago. -

Agreed, IMO Giant Drop and TOT are arguably the flagship attractions of DW. -
VRTP should take note. Once time's up for Creatures of the Deep, VRTP should utilise that land, the rest of the reclaimed land (if it still exists), Corkscrew's old area and Pirate Ship's old area to do something big.

Odd, I found GD to be relatively tame in comparison to Larson drop towers like the one at Luna Park. Still, quite a scary ride. -

I didn't say it needs replacing. -

It has also seen better days. Every time I went to DW the queues for Rocky Hollow Log Ride were dead, worse than the Giant Drop and HWSW (when it was Cyclone) at times... It's just that Rocky Hollow IMO is a dead area, like the MDMC area most guests choose to flock to Ocean Parade (and the surrounding Dreamworks area), WWW and to a lesser extent Town of Gold Rush. The problem with Rocky Hollow is that it is just too far away from the rest of the park's rides, and the Log Ride has sat in the shadow of the Rapids and Buzzsaw after Eureka closed. This is not to say there is anything wrong with the ride, but due to the rapid growth of Ocean Parade and the opening of WWW, the Rocky Hollow Log Ride and the Giant Drop has been pushed aside and is now in the shadow of the rest of the park. I'm sure DW don't want to get rid of Giant Drop since it is pound for pound, their flagship ride along with TOT. If a large thrill ride opened in the Rocky Hollow area, then this may change, however based on the heavy focus on Ocean Parade and the surrounding area in recent years I wouldn't find this very likely to occur. -

Lol 100% agree with you. The residents shouldn't have a say in what goes on with LPS because it was their decision to move there and they were well aware that LPS was nearby.

Superman is down for two periods (18th April - 6th May) and (16th July to 13th September). The latter one concerns me since SE has never gone down for two months (and this year SE has more downtime than even WWF), its nowhere near the Doomsday site so it can't be that, could I eye an overhaul and/or minor rehab in the July-September maintenance period?

I agree, the log ride needs to go, it's a favourite of mine but it's getting on in years. -
Well, it is the news, where you see stupid shit that's designed to remind all of us that the world is a shitty place.

Seriously did you read POP's idiotic post? -
Overwatch is arriving in a few months and just wondering if anyone into FPS's is planning on preordering it. I already have it preordered
-
RCTW is shit, I own the beta and regret preordering the game. I wish Atari kept the grid system of RCT1-RCT3. On the other hand, Planet Coaster looks fairly promising and more realistic which is a great thing. I am looking forward to it when it comes out. With all bias aside, I'm just going to stick to NL2, RCT3 and TPS for my theme park needs.

Holy shit. Im buying one for certain.
-
Great to know it's coming, excited to see what rides will be there!

Beyond disappointing. Putting gimmicky technology on an ACE coaster landmark (Revolution), arguably the best roller coaster in the world (Superman SFNE) and a good B&M hyper (Goliath) is a huge mistake IMO.

Very interesting to watch, even though their rides are rough they have done so much for the industry.

No. Just no. Condors are boring, super short rides that are the poorest excuse for a thrill ride. If you have been on one you will know that (Ocean Park!!)
