  1. Honestly he/she could be a VRTP employee, or could heck even be run by multiple VRTP employees.
  2. Yeah Mystic Manor is the best ride in the park IMO. Not for long though- a new Iron Man ride is coming in 2016.
  3. MW would do another DC themed coaster (Flash anybody) before they ever do one off another IP.
  4. Too bad i never got to go but it did seem awesome. Has the new Sydney's Wonderland development been cancelled since I have never heard about it for a very long time.
  5. Great TR AlexB- did you end up going to Ocean Park? It has a great B&M floorless lol. I went to HK last year- had a great time, did like their Space Mountain (only one I've been on anyway!) I'm surprised the HK version is your favourite SM- you probably haven't been on the one in Paris right?
  6. Thank you Mark for a great season. So now what do we do after the season's over?
  7. Wait so the old Alpine station is the building where you get off the chairlift at the top of the hill behind Speed Slides? Are they demolishing it or repurposing it as a station for the new waterslide?
  8. Much like Wonderland, LPS (when it was running), Sega Land and Sea World.
  9. I remember seeing this on TPR a while ago, it's a really cool idea IMO too bad it never got made. I think the reason why Alton never built their pipeline was that Wardley thought the ride was too boring after riding the prototype, and ended up sticking with a B&M invert (Nemesis today).
  10. Isn't TOT at Disney the same thing as Demon Drop that used to be at Cedar Point?
  11. Realistically it's a matter of quantity or quality. I always prefer quality, since all (apart from Giant Drop) of DW's flats are vomit generators to say the least, and their coasters are lacklustre as opposed to MW, which have great coasters but very little flats, and also a much better log flume and an excellent dark ride. Also GL could be open in July, they probably wouldn't be fixing the ride for 3 months.
  12. I wonder if anyone on this board has been on a Togo coaster. What are they like, I hear they are really bad?
  13. Mine was Ocean Park. Not only did I get 4 credits, but all the flats were good!
  14. Dream on, kid. DW will never get a good coaster. As much as the idea of Australia's first B&M is a good one, it's too unrealistic, especially for a park like Dreamworld. Led Zeppelin was on sale a while ago and could have been a great fit for DW but it's now heading to Vietnam.
  15. I wish DW would install seats facing forwards where the 2 back seats are.
  16. Bugger I thought it would be something like Arctic Blast at Ocean Park Hong Kong.
  17. The blue area is the reclaimed land isn't it? They could do a great kiddie coaster (zierer) in that area, not a wacky worm. I wish they would a small scale Verbolten, but realistically speaking that probably isn't going to happen. If the new kiddie coaster is a Zamperla kiddie coaster (like the one at AW) i will be required to burn the park to the ground.
  18. You mean the Roller Soaker that used to be at Hershey Park?
  19. I'm surprised they did not build the kids area on Sea Viper's land cause tbh that would have been an ok replacement.
  20. My memories (these were mainly recent ones, the oldest dates back to 2007): SW: Sea Viper (im surprised nobodys mentioned this yet), Bermuda and the Sea World Eye. MW: Main Street without the roof, LTRR, Batman 2. LPS: Flying Saucer, I wish I was able to ride the two Big Dippers and the Wildcat. The Tango Train will be added to this list eventually.... AW: Turbo Mountain, the coaster they had before Mark's arrival and long before Abyss. DW: Avalanche, when Cyclone had theming, the Wipeout shark, Reef Diver. I'm surprised nobody's mentioned Thunderbolt on this topic... Also after watching Iwerks' video on MW, how long was LW painted white and blue supports?
  21. They already have a wind generator in the queue building.
  22. Do you have the month the Villager, Marth, Captain Falcon and Little Mac will be restocked?
  23. I've been calculating recently how much the prices of several coasters are worth in today's money. Cyclone (when installed at LPS) 7 million in 1995- 11.9 million today (nearly the same cost as Abyss) Thunderbolt 3.3 million in 1982- 10.8 million today Sea Viper 2 million in 1982- 6.6 million today Does someone really think that LPS will invest $12 million into their next coaster? I don't think so.
  24. This can be described in two words: Toughen up. What a sook. You shouldn't be suing Dreamworld for that much for hurting your wrist. If she broke it, then that would be a tad genuine.
