Triple Vortex now open at WhiteWater World
XxMrYoshixX replied to lolman123's topic in Theme Park Discussion
I'm popping up to DW in January. Is a Gopro advised for a POV on the rides? If yes, what mount? I'm using it on Tail Spin and Triple Vortex, maybe Cyclone or even TOT2. -
That brake run is the only part where the trains are uncomfortable for me.

Luna Park Sydney - the future with Wet'n'Wild
XxMrYoshixX replied to JulieLovis's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Luna Park then has third hand HUSS rides? Where did they originate? They do seem old when looking at it. The Tango will probably be first on the chopping block, considering how often it goes into maintenance. LPS have done a great job maintaining the old boys since 1995 including the Flying Saucer and Wild Mouse. But the latter ain't going anywhere anytime soon. Tail Spin type ride? Air Race? Power Surge? Disk O? Who knows what could happen. -

My source for those that you dont know is on our forums in Chit-Chat. Read the latest post. It also mentions the departure of the Tango, Ranger, Spider and Tumble Bug sometime in the next 5 years. Soon the HUSS rides will be no more . Remember that they are ex- World Expo Park rides and are over 25 years old. -

UPDATE: 5 new rides will be added in the next 5 years, the first the Hair Raiser. They are also planning a new Big Dipper. Let's begin the guessing game. -

Girl dies after being thrown from Royal Show ride
XxMrYoshixX replied to Slick's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Damn teenagers on mobile phones. No offense to the teens on the community if there's any. This is a sad accident indeed. In fact, I'm not trusting the Easter Show large scary rides any more with the exception of Hollywood Horrors (which scared the s**t out of me when I went on it). I've never gone to the Ekka. Like Ninja 59 pointed out, go to the Gold Coast for the large scary rides. There's plenty of them. -
Somebody should make a Creepypasta out of that.

That joke I put up was an RCT3 one, if you didn't know what it was.

This is pretty good. Everything is very detailed here. -
I'm pretty sure we all prefer Max over Zero. The only place that really sold Pepsi here other than a supermarket is KFC.

Geez. The top of the lift burnt up...

Why Australia has such horrible thrill rides?
XxMrYoshixX replied to jack.c's topic in Theme Park Discussion
As long as they get rid of the eureka ride. I looked at the ride and it's a Chinese knockoff Loop Screw. Buy it, get Arrow trains and your done! -
Thank the lord Dreamworld is finally replacing Coke with Pepsi.

Cyclone combined with its original LPS cost is well over $2 million. Dreamworld bought the ride for 2 million dollars Tower of terror, I think was $18 million. Scooby was $12 million. -

There goes my childhood. I just hope they get some sort of plaque to remember the ride... -
A New Caledonian man fell from the LPS Big Dipper (wooden). Also the Scenic Railway accident in the 80s?
