  1. Yeah, but it's a better idea to open it earlier than later to get those local crowds in before all the tourists arrive during CWG time, I'm thinking September or Summer 2017. No doubt it will open before the Commonwealth Games, though.
  2. "Minimize your wait on 4 epic coasters" Lists Doomsday as a roller coaster
  3. It may be sad, but Disney doesn't cater to people who have grown up in the 1980's. This had to happen eventually, since anyone who was born past 1995 probably wouldn't know what The Twilight Zone is. It may be a classic, but the IP is simply no longer relevant to Disney's current target market of young people. This decision is logical for that reason. I don't know why this is getting a massive backlash, because Disney has made the right decision here to refresh the ride to a more current IP. I know older audiences will be saddened, but that is not Disney's target market. I, for one, are excited about the new ride, since I'm a massive Marvel fan.
  4. I know what's going to happen, Aussie World are going to pull off a Bermuda Triangle and shut the ride during maintenance. I thought it was only the VRTP parks that did this, at least DW have the decency to announce it will be shutting a ride ahead of time and not during maintenance.
  5. If there was an indoor coaster-style ride, I think a Wild West theme would be more suitable then mentioned above. You could easily do a WWF-esque log ride or a Mine Train coaster (like Big Thunder Mountain or Big Grizzly Mountain) in the area and it would still be a different experience to Abyss, or anything else for that matter.
  6. No, that's what @POP said when he claimed he was sleepwalking and posting here at the same time.
  7. No, please, no, there are only three of them left, please don't kill it.
  8. You'd be better off watching Fox News than ACA, some of the things they rant about is really dumb. Also, Pokemon Go is an OK game in it's own right, but it does not live up to the originals. I've moved to playing Ruby & Sapphire on my phone instead of playing this, since that is a far better game. If the game was an RPG like the originals, I would absolutely be convinced that it wouldn't be as popular as it is now. I hate it that Nintendo has attracted fanboys to a good franchise a la Fast & Furious (ie. People become obsessed with F&F after Furious 7 comes out and pretend they are a fan purely because Paul Walker has died) and that what has happened with this game. Look at all the people playing Pokemon Go now, and for years I was labelled as gay at school for playing Pokemon on the original DS. @reanimated35 Here's another one: "Scott Morrison faces bigotry for being a bigot. Are other straight white men next in line? Our exclusive investigation into the Treasurer's intelligence- up next"
  9. So, I guess the two types are swapped over each cycle (ie wild, then mild, then wild). So I imagine there would be two separate queues?
  10. Superman? At least it's main outdoor section is compact.
  11. Good ride, but it would be too close/similar to Superman, and that's not something MW want for a "World Class" attraction.
  12. I think MW are more likely to get a Mack than an Intamin. I do think something like Blue Fire would be a likely choice, it might have a different layout or it could be an exact clone.
  13. I don't think VRTP would have invested in a B&M coaster, although it would be hell awesome. A coaster from Mack would be far more likely. I'm looking at Lost Gravity at Walibi Holland.
  14. Universal Singapore is a pretty good park. Whatever you do, ensure Madagascar, Battlestar Galactica and Transformers is done at the park. Transformers is most definitely the best ride in the park.
  15. As others have said, SE and Arkham is great arms up whole ride. TOT2 is meh arms up, but I do it anyway. As for Buzzsaw, it is very intense when you put your hands up, however I'd advise against it, since there is only a lap bar. Green Lantern is like this to a lesser extent. Hot Wheels, like Sea Viper is a coaster you should definitely hold on to, otherwise it's a trip off to the chiropractor's to get your neck fixed. I learnt that one the hard way.
  16. There might not be bag storage at all, I'm thinking riders will put their bags on the floor like on Tailspin, Giant Drop or the Freak Out travelling ride, since I don't believe Twin Hammers have moving floors like The Claw or Arkham Asylum. MW will put the locker tax on the new coaster however. Granted, that is quite obvious.
  17. Well, it is the grand total of two and a half months until opening, you'll have plenty of time
  18. What a waste of good park money. I'm sure the golf fans will like it though.
  19. I'm buying Battlefront 2 (Sarcasm) But honestly, Battlefield 1 looks like an amazing game, will not touch Infinite Warfare.
  20. Questions: 1. Why was the Cyclone entrance and exit swapped around in ~ 2008? 2. Was there ever an intention to replace Thunderbolt with some sort of thrill ride before WWW was announced? 3. Is it true that TOT has had it's speed lowered from 161 km/h to 120 km/h? 4. Is there ever an intention to refurbish Giant Drop or the rapids in the future before the Commonwealth Games? 5. Is there anything major planned from 2017 beyond?
