  1. I doubt SW will get them, the cars will probably get donated to a museum.
  2. Make sure you do the stuff at the top first, then work your way down. Preferably start with Hair Raiser and the rest of Thrill Mountain. Dragon is almost always a walk on so if you want the credit it's right there. I would start with Tomorrowland, because that area has the longest queues. ALWAYS ALWAYS get to the parade early, since it gets extremely crowded whether it is busy or quiet. CNY will make it worse. Because you're spending two days (and you may not want to watch the same parade twice) all the rides are a walk-on shortly before, during and shortly after the parade. Once the fireworks are over, you should try to get out as fast as you can, unless you are staying at the resort (if there is one), or leaving by car. The trains leaving the park get extremely crowded.
  3. Agreed. But if you want to watch it, as I have stated before the whole thing is in Chinese so good luck watching it.
  4. Surely the GP wouldn't be that stupid to recognise that HWSW is Cyclone. It's just the fact that the ride is more bearable.
  5. I don't suggest spending 2 days at HKDL unless if it is crowded (you said you were doing it during Chinese New Year, so I assume yes it will be), on a regular weekday I managed to do most of Tomorrowland, Mystic Manor, Big Grizzly Mountain, the Jungle Cruise, the Lion King show (which is in English so it is bearable), the 4D Mickey show, the train and all of Toy Story Land, plus the parades and fireworks and all that. Unlike the other parks HKDL still doesn't have much to offer even after all those expansions. At Ocean Park- do all of Thrill Mountain first upon getting to the top, since it's there where the lines will be longest. Upon arrival, immediately go to the cable car or the uphill train, since the lines for those will be extremely long, especially the cable car. I suggest doing the animal stuff on the way out. I found the dolphin show to be crap, since none of it is in English and so you will spend more time staring at the translation screens than watching the actual thing. The dolphin stunts are nothing special either. If it is going to be a hot day, be sure to pack HEAPS of water. The Penguin attraction is a great way to cool off, as is the rapids. Enjoy HK and SG!
  6. It may not be as bad as Nine with some of the pointless crap they have put on Current Affair lately or dare I say it Fox News but putting something on the NEWS about the queues at a theme park is in my opinion relatively silly. I agree with you on the GC Bulletin though.
  7. Interesting! It was about time's up for Tango train anyway... I watched a POV of the coaster DWP discovered, it's awesome but waaay too short.
  8. Couldn't agree more, but there is some rust on the track, predominately on the loop, but in other places as well. The photos taken here show. Still, pretty good considering it hasn't been painted since 2001 (or even 1995, the old Big Dipper was the same colour of track) Is it just me or does the new trains remind me of the Dragon at Ocean Park Hong Kong? Or the ones on the old Thunderbolt? Do the old Thunderbolt trains even exist anymore?
  9. Great, when I come back to AW i will deliberately forget my shoes.
  10. Funtime the manufacturer who makes the Six Flags Skyscreamers was what I was refering to as "down the road" since they are based on the GC.
  11. Why buy a Windseeker when there is a manufacturer who builds the same thing under a different name just up the road…
  12. I'm not sure. Can you possibly check if the blue paint leftover from the Ocean Parade refurb is still spilt all across the floor of Cyclone's queue? Also is the coaster still rough like what Cooper Olsen pointed out?
  13. Totta needs to go to the Derek Zoolander Center For Kids Who Can't Read Good, since that edit is just appalling.
  14. It cost a lot to get rid of Bermuda Triangle and also to put in all the theming. The coaster itself didnt cost $22 million, that number is the coaster plus the demolition costs of Bermuda. If Bermuda wasnt built, it would cost something along the lines of Abyss.
  15. Ok thanks wow i am surprised they didnt shut the cyclone during the construction it would be better if they did close it so operations wouldnt be affected. It would be so annoying as a worker consistently jumping out of the way of a Cyclone train coming past.
