  1. Idle speculation- a Euro Fighter could work out great for DW. They need something that isn't short, like TOT2 or BuzzSaw (Cyclone is in-between) Imo a Karacho (Tripsdrill) clone would be something awesome to ride (or any Eurofighter that isn't too similar to Abyss or a 320+ model).
  2. Cyclone still has plenty of life in it, Dreamworld just doesn't give a f**k about any TLC. Imo it's the ride that might be getting a refresh next year. If WWW never existed... oh would it be so great...
  3. They are over glorifying a character meet and greet and renewed dolphin show, considering them attractions when they're not.
  4. Popped into DW today. Some observations: Cyclone is still stopping several times in the station. Unfortunately the old girl is showing its age, as it can get really rough at times. Imo it is on its way out. Wipeout is running well after the refurb. Although it's still pretty loud... Tail Spin, my word it's so hard to flip upside down and you need a few rides to master it. DWTV was shown on TailSpin and Wipeout. It's nice listening to music in the queue. I found Triple Vortex disappointing. Boring ride, if not the worst in WWW. My sister snuck a go pro on Cyclone, I'll upload the PoV later. TOT2 needs air conditioning in the queue, since it gets stinkin hot in there.
  5. I read somewhere on a similar forum that Turbo Mountain was in shocking condition when it left. Also on AW's website it says that Schwarzkopf went into recievership making it harder to find spare parts so from that I assume it was scrapped.
  6. I'll be popping into DW on New Year's Eve, so if you want me to check anything just let me know.
  7. No. It's a travelling ride. LPS had one as a temporary ride a long time ago
  8. Feedback: One thing to fix up Rampage is to replace the metal floor with something that isn't boiling hot for your feet on a hot day. Abyss is now very smooth, thank you very much Mark! Mark, good job on the loading speeds for Abyss and the other flat rides, they are streets ahead of the Gold Coast which takes 5 minutes to get people on and off any given roller coaster. Also I like the new scoreboard for Aqua Racer, it was much needed (because the original one never worked!). Overall, I had a great day yesterday. I hope you all have a great Christmas. Next stop- the Gold Coast!
  9. Not quite. The apartments were built during the time the park was shut, and the people assumed LPS was never going to reopen.
  10. Popping back into AW tomorrow, if anyone has anything you want me to look at just let me know. Also Abyss is rough in the front row IMO.
  11. Nice find Julie! Those rich retards should get a life, because LPS is here to stay.
  12. Freefall was working, and back up to it's full height. And I did end up going on it.
  13. Iwerks I had a great day. I checked Dinosaur Island and the signage is there. I didn't have a look at the actual exhibit since this was seen from the Rail Rider- but there was mist around the entrance. Also for some reason Abyss is fairly rough at the front row (not Cyclone rough though), but turned out to be a fun ride. I'm going back to AW next Tuesday, and fingers crossed it will be nice like today.
  14. Don't take things literally mate. The transitions hurt like hell if your not wearing a rashie. You don't get a mat on your back unlike the one at WnW.
