  1. Oh don't get me wrong, I absolutely love what they've done. I think it looks better than it has ever looked before! But in saying that, the perfectionist inside me kinda thinks "Oh, it might look nicer if they added this, or did this".
  2. I know this sort of goes against the grain, but does anyone else miss some of the beach theming from the Wipeout? The rehab has really done wonders for the ride, but I feel it looks a bit more like a generic pool than a beach. A little bit of sand in the corners between the viewing platform and end of the pool couldn't do much harm, could it?
  3. The Haunted Mansion? Space Mountain? Big Thunder Mountain Railroad?
  4. Anyone know what caused the change from Rock 'n' Roll Rebel to Dark Rebel? Was it just to freshen up the ride? Or is there any major differences?
  5. You never know. Just because it's not happening this year doesn't mean that it's not going to sneak up on us later...
  6. Just saw this on the Dreamworld website... So it looks like the Big Red Boat is being changed to the Giggle & Hoot Pirate Ship, the Hop and Hoot sounds like a Frog Hopper, most of the Wiggles ride are staying and we'll get a Bananas in Pyjamas maze. Seems like a nice lineup for some of the younger guests.
  7. Launched Wooden Bolliger & Mabillard Flying Dive Machine themed to Play School confirmed? In all seriousness, I think this will be a great expansion of that toddler area of the park. I'm just a bit confused on one thing; Will some of the Wiggles branding be staying in the park? Or will this now become exclusively ABC?
  8. Compared to the classic Haunted Mansion, how do you think Mystic Manor fared? Does it give the same feeling of amazement with the effects? Or does it just feel like a typical dark ride but with a Disney sized budget?
  9. After 46 or so years, he's finally back....
  10. Can we please get Birdo: The Ride? I think that'll be weird enough...
  11. I think as long as the main characters are easily identifiable there will be no problems for anyone. A ride based around Mario and Luigi is going to get more public recognition than, let's say Little Mac from Punch Out. Both are classic video games, but one is ingrained into the public zeitgeist while the other is floating around in its relevant communities.
  12. They better use SFMM for Wally World or I'm gonna be severely disappointed
  13. I would be an absolute crack up if Nintendo only allowed them to use second rate franchises, such as Nintendogs, Wii Sports, and Brain Age.
  14. Maybe just a small boulder designed to look like a scaled down volcano from Bermuda?
  15. I think you'll find that it has been demolished. Have a look a the first photo taken by Ninja earlier. A vehicle is sitting on the former site of that building. ^Dang, beat me to it!
  16. I recently just found out that the Dreamworks Experience at Dreamworld set Ardent back $7,000,000. I wonder if Sea World has the same budget for this investment...
  17. I renewed mine just now, and I am gonna be so pissed of a better pass just appears out of the blue
  18. So let me get this straight, we have to buy the basic VIP Pass, then buy a supplementary upgrade to Gold?
  19. I wasn't expecting that building to go. I'm really looking forward to the end result!
  20. I agree 50/50 with you Joz. I think the staff should have some idea of what's going on, but I wouldn't expect a nurse at the first-aid centre to be able to tell you about the future of the gold pass. Also, not trying to get up you, Push, but why didn't you give the call centre a ring first? That would've been my first port of call with any inquiries.
  21. The smoke effects have been very temperamental. I rode after rehab last year and the campfire and train tracks were both smoking. It looked great, but I can't say the same about their reliability...
  22. All I can think of after watching that is "Same same but different"
