  1. Nothing is mentioned on the Atomiq website about them designing Infinity. They were, however, responsible for most of the theming on the Motocoaster, Tower of Terror 2, Dreamworks Experience, The Claw, Buzzsaw, Shockwave, Wiggles World, White Water World and V8 Supercars Redline among many others. It will be interesting to see if Aussie World sticks with Atomiq, as this may lead to even more themed attractions.
  2. I've noticed that MW has preferred to do almost spontaneous showings (at least to guests anyway). For instance, the Great Gatsby show and meet doesn't appear on the showtimes, it just occurs around lunch time.
  3. Most likely Creatures of the Deep IMO
  4. Quick Questions ThrillSeekerNoMore: How do you still feel about Movie World? Would you still go on rides? Avoid it like the black plague? Are you angry towards them or just happy that you are on solid ground?
  5. Pretty sure it was S&S. Could be wrong though
  6. I think what we should be thinking about is what this could mean for VRTP and S&S. Lawsuits? Closures? Removals? Also, do we know how this occurred? Did a wheel just spontaneously pop? Did the up stops fall apart?
  7. At the Wiggles concert? What a wonderful place to announce a terrifying experience!
  8. I agree with pretty much everyone's statements here. I just wanted to add that for me, any ride that takes you on a journey is a classic. I love Wild West Falls because I can't go out and capture that experience of classic western films. I love Justice League because I can't go out and save the world. I love the Twilight Zone because I can't go and explore a haunted hollywood hotel that sends me straight down to the fifth dimension.
  9. This is starting to look promising. This has moved on from "The Monsters are due on Maple Street" to having some plausible evidence. I sure hope you're right, Ocean Girl
  10. It kills me to say it, but I would love to see Rivertown rethemed as a racing hub. Having many different motorsport based attractions all spread out from each other always seemed to be my pet hate at Dreamworld. As much as I love the calmness of Rivertown, theres not much left since the Wiggles took their share and Mick Doohan decided to take over, so it would be better to get rid of those last few buildings and make the whole land cohesively themed around racing
  11. Hello Everyone! After seeing how everyone has been feeling about the possibility of Eureka Mountain Mine Ride reopening again as well as hearing about the lasting impact of the Bermuda Triangle, I was wondering what makes these rides so beloved it the parks? What is it that makes the Bermuda Triangle so idolised? Or why everyone wants Eureka back? I never really went to the parks when I was younger so I never got to experience the mine ride or the full Bermuda Experience (Almost all effects bar pepper's ghost never worked), so I'm just curious as to what makes these rides stand out compared to others, such as the Thunderbolt or the Great Gremlins Adventure.
  12. Looks like our little speculation is really starting to spread... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eureka_Mountain_Mine_Ride
  13. Not sure where to put this, but here goes. Anyone know when Arkham is expected to reopen from rehab? The MW site says it's currently TBA and I thought it had some set dates earlier in the year
  14. Anything, really. Have you seen the interactive queue at the Haunted Mansion in the Magic Kingdom? Even that would be a million times better than the current set up
  15. She's fully booked this week. She got a hot lead working out what laundry detergent is the best.
  16. Surely with the next stunt show they could theme it to movies again. Maybe Gangsters? Even a weak tie would be better than the hot mess that they are showing now.
  17. Best Case Scenario for Scooby Queue: Interactive Queue Line Realistic Scenario for Scooby Queue: Replace the old video with classic Scooby episodes (so it doesn't loop every 5 minutes) What would really happen: Video stays the same I don't mind the video when you are in a short queue, but I have a major problem with it when you are stuck in the queue hall for up to an hour and the featurette is being drilled into your psyche. I wish they would replace it with episodes of the show, so that way it isn't being repeated every 5 minutes, but I believe that there might be some issues with doing that.
  18. Seems like Dreamworld is having a bit of a restraint problem. TOT restraints weren't opening, Wipeout lap bars weren't going down and the Claw had a computer error. Those engineers better be paid extra...
  19. Movie World just tweeted this... Could they be announcing a new attraction for this year?
  20. While I do agree that the WWF area needs to be a bit more lively, I don't think a blacksmith would be the best thing. I think it's a cool idea but I'm just not sure it would be that plausible for the park. As for entertainers, I say go right ahead. Except for whip-cracking. That's gonna break some workplace health and safety rules for sure...
  21. I would love to see something akin to Big Thunder Mountain rather then a woodie. I just feel that a mine train coaster would suit Movie World like a glove compared to a woodie.
  22. Where could a possible future attraction be built in the Western Town? Where the SAW Maze was?
  23. Not sure if i've missed something, but have Reviews only just been added to the Park & Ride Database?
