  1. Going by how the Rampage is designed yes it does similar moves to wipeout with the arms rotating independently but it has 1 hinged arm. They use the hinge to make it easier to remove the Gondola for maintenance which I would say could be the same for vortex.
  2. Whats better than 1 large Sea Container, multiple smaller ones inside of each other. 🤣
  3. Dreamworld posted this to their story wonder what it could be? Looks too small for the train carriage? Interested to hear peoples thoughts?
  4. Goliath does have them. But Intamins gyro swings all have them.
  5. Abyss doesn’t have seat belts, that’s with an OTSR.
  6. BBQ chicken and bacon. It’s the best flavour. Amazing tasting 😎
  7. Adventure World has an amazing quality menu with some great food options. Their pizza and donuts are the best that I have had at a theme park. This bad boy with season pass discount is $28 and is super tasty. Took 3.5 minutes to arrive once ordered. (Tiki bar outlet) All fresh 😎
  8. That guy on the ride seems like a super cool guy 😎
  9. I wonder if we see them add a spinning seat to the second train to solve this issue, if the spinning seat proves to be popular and a money maker.
  10. Doesn’t matter how many trains it can run, most of the times seems Superman and Rivals run 1 train each.
  11. I mean they did just build rivals and green lantern as thrill coasters that didn’t replace existing rides. So they could still remove AA to replace with family rides.
  12. It was a good fun ride, 100% more forceful than doomsday for sure. It’s a ARM model not a Huss model. Still lots of fun. Also due for a full rebuild once the carnival ends in February. New scenery, new lights, paint, motors etc.
  13. Jamberoo posted this imagine, coming along although seems it will miss the summer peek period. Looks super cool, cant wait to see it finished.
  14. Adventure world has its annual AW nights events which is great in those summer events being open till 11pm, with fairy lights, flamingos, bands, food trucks etc. great event to chill and enjoy the warm hot Perth summer.
  15. It’s not the ranger ride, it’s the travelling ride called “Top Gun” which is the same ride type. Which has been brought by sideshow amusements in perth. Recently done up and will debuts there
  16. With Steel Taipan now open what do people think will be next for the park? Personally I’m hoping their next major Capex addition is a large scale family attraction be a water based one or a family coaster. But something that caters to all. or do we see the ABC kids world remodel coming next? That area is in need of some love as well? Interesting times and let the speculation begin.
  17. Well a slide like kraken does 600 people an hour. Same as gravity wave, perfect storm etc.
  18. Controversial opinion, Buzzsaw was a decent ride. You will be missed.
  19. All coasters/rides or buildings for that matter are designed to be able to withstand a 1 in 100 year weather event. Which is cyclone etc. this is part of the Australian Standards building codes.
  20. It was confirmed that they managed to pick up a parks lead time with Mack as they normally have long lead times on projects. The coaster was not already manufactured or designed. They picked the design. The footings being like that would 100% be to save money.
  21. They must have finally found the keys to operate them. I knew the keys were somewhere.
  22. So adding my 10 cents worth; Abyss does not nor did have scales. The 75kg average was always listed on the website since opening day. (pick taken 10 minutes ago) This sign has been there for 5 years stating max weights. There not new. (Pic from 2 seasons ago) There are also scales outside the queue to try before entering the queue. Out the way. The rocky rapids is the only one your weighed as an individual cos it’s a single raft slide which always had a 90kg limit. The other one is bigger and has both 2 people on it at the same time to make sure your under 180kg. Kraken is a large scale one for 2-4 people so there not weighed as singles. They have since made the lights super small by cover them up. You can’t even see the light form a metre away now.
  23. People also forget it pulls 4.5g positive and 1.5g negative. Being a very intense ride is bound to make it seem "Rough" as It is one of the highest g force rating in Australia for a ride. It also operates typically in Perth's hot summer and that makes for a rougher ride comparing it to a colder winters day. In my opinion last season the ride was overall smoother than its original opening day season. However, I didn't ride it in December or January during the hot days (only AW nights were it cooled down)
