Honestly you grab a Ferris slide wheel which would be a big gimmick slide (draw in crowds) then add a few major proslide rides: a massive water coaster from Proslide something the size of Mammoth or Wilderbeast at holiday world. Then follow it up with a slide tower with 3 major Proslide’s (a UFO slide, a Tornado alley, Bowl Alley and tornado wall as nobody on the GC has one yet) Make them all ProSlide records longest, tallest of their kinds. All of those slides with the current line up would do wonders for the parks

I believe it was stated Rivals costed over $30 million. Don’t think the exact figure was every said. But I thought it was rumoured around $35 million.

@Jobe Adventure World still has their slide which is similar. They have their original opening day River Rapids slide.

I have had some free time over the past few days and decided to have some fun. There is a lot of space around the back of WWW, but once it's gone its gone. Using the original Stage 3 expansion plans for WWW, there is still room for another 2 slide tower plots once HWSW is removed down the track. I also see a Suspended Roller Soaker coaster being a good fit (Zamperla roller coaster that allows you to soak people below with water guns) The main Slide tower at the back right could feature a ProSlide tower with a Tornado wall, Bowl alley and a UFO maybe? Along with an Adventure River, Kiddie splash pads and room for 2 more big slide towers. This also allows a prefect option to re do the back half of ocean parade. Remove Shockwave for a nice RMC Raptor and remove the whole Panda area. With Panda gone its perfect chance to build a dark ride themed around How to Train your dragon which will also have a retheme of Pandamonium to suit. Let me know what your thoughts are?

@TomiJ those photos were already posted here and taken before the closing of the parks. 😂 -
The containers aren’t owned by MAck or Dreamworld, once the coaster arrives they have to be unloaded unless the park wants to spend money on hiring the containers. The best place and safest place to store the massive items (track and supports) would be the carpark as it’s flat and clean. The smaller and lighter objects you would want to be more secured (being stored inside the parks footprint) cod you don’t want people damaging or stealing your bolts, while it’s sit there for potentially months.

It looks like dreamworlds goal is to open back on the 31st of May.

In terms of scale Ardent Leisure and Village Roadshow theme parks are off course the large portion. But in terms of numbers the other parks are the majority. - Aussie World - Gumbya World - Raging Waters Sydney - Jamberoo Action Park - FunFields - Luna Park Melbroune - Luna Park Sydney - Adventure World - Outback Splash

That’s a mega thread about Corona Virus. I’m making a thread to talk about effects on our parks closing.
-
So it’s been officially announced the Royal Easter show is canceled. Do we think that some Australian theme parks might be next to close down? Luckily for most off our parks bar VRTP and Ardent most are getting ready to close for their winter period anyway and most likely won’t be effected as much.

Well Vikings revenge has been waiting a long time.... But remember a world class attraction will replace Vikings Revenge in 2019! Oh wait..... At least Vortex will open in December 2019.... well Trident will open in April 2020...... oh wait.... maybe Leviathan might meet its deadline?

Hot Wheels Sidewinder Refurbishment

You are most likely seeing either the under coat or the layer of structural X-ray. Keep In mind all rides must now have a full strip back and removal off paint every 10 years now, so we might be seeing that happen now. -
When you have 2 trains you can still operate the ride while you do re builds on the trains. Do 1 train at a time.
-
So if it doesn’t re open, are you saying it means Movie World doesn’t know how to maintain its rides? Cos if you look at WWF barley any effects were working when I went a month ago.

Same as Sky Voyager building a new ride that they don’t have experience with and is a new ride system to Australia. Shit happens. Goes for both parks if something’s delayed, communicate it with your guests. Simple.
