  1. Any of these dozens of rides closed actually have any workers working on them during the day. Surely you would do everything possible to have minimal rides closed at all times. But is that just me?
  2. I think it also comes down to showmen not making much money these days. So many rides for sale at the moment. Like Sky Walker, Ranger, Space Roller, Nitro and Avengers.
  3. So I did some looking online and it seems that FF has registered for a building permit to build a Wave Pool and associated building. Its great to see the park investing in another attraction of 2 million a year after building 2 new rides.
  4. Ok so I finally got around to editing the footage I got while at Adventure World earlier in the year. It's not the best on ride footage but deceant from a go pro.
  5. Nah didn't you hear Abyss, Kraken and Goliath are trailer mounted and are off to a new fair this week. Considering AW is a fun fair. 😜
  6. I know at Adventure World all ride oops and team never do rubbish duties after the park closes. Once all rides are shut down and guests are leaving, they pick up rubbish across the park, car park and boundary roads.
  7. Going with Australian rides: 1. Go Karts - AW 2. Wipeout 3. Inferno 4. AA 5. HWSW .....
  8. As someone who works in the fast food industry, this is very important for most customers. The amount of complaints from customers if you don't greet them instantly and friendly, is mind boggling.
  9. What annoys me the most is that is not in any way a roller coaster.
  10. Not that many care but Abyss has always had a restriction on being over 8 years old to rides Abyss.
  11. Do keep in mind creative works put up and made fake spider webs.
  12. I did notice that last time I went, next time I go I shall see if it's been fixed properly. It seemed like it had just snapped off and was a temporary fix. Hopfully it's better now.
  13. Do keep in mind VR are providing studios for the games, yes the government did pitch in some coin for them. But I would have thought they could have made a deal with the leasing of those studios and advertisement.
  14. I would have thought VRTP would have made a deal with the sound stages to get their names used. But seems like either to much money or not worth it.
  15. I would say it's better timing now. The coverage is a lot less than it would be as the media are already full with the Games stuff to notice it.
  16. I think the more unbelievable part is picking Joondaulup for the location. There is no room in Joondalup for a Disney land to even be considered.
  17. But The Beast isint a Gyro Swing, it's a KMG XXL, Gyro Swing being a model type. Only Intamin call there Pendulem rides Gyro Swings.
  18. I found an article recently that said Adventure World gets over 500,000 a season.
  19. Jeez never new the chaos and scorpion rides went to DW. That brings back some memories.
  20. Fun Fact, that Graviton has been traveling around Western Australia since it left Dreamworld with Mitro, West Coast Amusements until it was sold last year.
  21. In other breaking news, when I put my foot on the break my car stops. Honestly do the media camp out at the parks? I know some people who were at the park today and didn't even know about it.
  22. So adventure World have added a special $5 season pass upgrade to their website. You must buy online for this to work. Seems like a great idea to encourage season pass sales with only a month left.
  23. So I was looking on Adventure World's Website and they have posted some information regarding their Easter Event that takes place during the day. I think its good to see the park adding all these events to it line up to try and post attendance throughout non peek season.
  24. I managed to spin the Barrels a little to much that he said he wanted to do Yarlis Safari to recover. (Coming from a person who can do Rampage 3 times in a row)
