  1. Yet in Perth I get adds for a Season Pass at Dreamworld.
  2. Ok well here goes, (long review warning) With the horrible weather Perth is having and the Show being on, the park was very quiet. So I managed to do everything with basically no waits. Abyss was walk on, Kraken looked empty as most other slides, The Go Kart's would have had a 10 minute wait and Goliath was only a wait for the cycle to finish. Goliath was defiantly the most popular ride today with everyone either watching it or ridding it. (you get pretty great views of Goliath and the park from inferno. (which is working ) Staff were very efficient at running the rides today with 2 trains running on Abyss (despite being walk on) and the staff are like always very friendly and making jokes. Goliath is an amazing flat ride! The Intamin Gyro Swing is my new favourite flat ride. (currently) It's good to have another dry ride because on a day like today it was to cold to do any water slides. Yet I spent most of the day there doing the dry ride product. To me its very re ridable (hence doing it 12 times) but if you get motion sickness like my good friend (@iwerks) its not very re ridable. I found Black Widow unbalanced (one person on the gondola) an unpleasant experience and made me feel sick. Just kept spinning over and over again. But with Goliath just the amount of airtime and high G force is incredible. Its a very intense and AWesome ride and the lap bars just add so much freedom. Goliath is like Abyss and AW's other rides with loads of shelves in each corner of the ride to store you loss items, shoes or bags.Go Pro's are allowed on the ride if in a chest mount. However it is a great addition to the park. Personally from the beginning I hated the location of the ride. But it really suits that spot nicely and is in the Bermuda Triangle of thrills. Having Black Widow, Rampage and Abyss surrounding this new ride. Which is why I am glad they put a nice area in with benches in the middle so you can sit and watch all these rides running at the same time. You can also tell how they learnt from the mistakes with Abyss and Kraken and tried to avoid making the same mistakes again. Instead of using the red hot flooring they have put nice anti slip poured limestone floors, fans in the queue race along with drinking fountains in the queue. Which will be great in a 40 degree summers day with an hour wait. (They have also added A/C to abyss queue also) The theming on this ride is just amazing! There are so many little details which just shows the extra thought that went into the ride design. Like the writing on the queue line roof to scratch marks on Rampage. (which got repainted in the off-season) I honestly have no idea what the sign says. The table area to view the Giant. @ABYSS to answer and earlier question that building has the mechanics to Goliath along with Power supply. Goliath's safety sign/cloth. Have no idea what these say either. But the fans will be great in the heat of summer. and the claw marks on Rampage. Overall its an amazing ride and does blend in very well at Adventure World and I look forward to seeing what MI-4 (hopefully still going ahead in 2019) and how well Goliath does in summer.
  3. @ABYSS because of Goliath they have a viewing area in the middle with benches. Great views of Goliath, Rampage and Abyss from there. So the old Below Zero store is now in that area and the Abyss arch is behind the store now. So they changed he name to suit Goliath. Along with a new menu.
  4. @ABYSS there you are. Also I will post a review when I get home. Just left AW after riding 12 goes on Goliath! That ride is insane. The air time and freedom of lap bars is amazing and the intensity and speed is AWesome.
  5. I am leaving soon. The weather has cleared so I am going to make the most of it.
  6. @ash.1111 Clark Kirby said in the interview it was he first NIL and it goes 141km/h. (People unaware he is the head of VRTP)
  7. The weather is not gonna be nice for the launch. Hopefully it clears as I want to try this Beast this weekend.
  8. Also in lucky for the Perth Royal Show. Every year the first week of the September holidays seems to have bad weather.
  9. Or movie world could allow people to take go pros on the ride as long as they are in a secure chest strap. Other theme parks do this. Some parks even let you pines on water slides. So why can't more parks here do this.
  10. I personally do think the theming is great and I am glad AW is working with Intamin and I am hoping they will work together agian. Anyway here is the video and I can't wait to try it this weekend. Below is the link to the TT video. https://thewest.com.au/news/today-tonight/adventure-world-introduces-new-thrill-ride-bc-5581841794001
  11. So we now have part 5. and another today tonight video airing tomorrow night regarding the theme and the first riders for Goliath which opens this Saturday!
  12. I would say building a loop from WWF to Rivals would be good. But I don't see it happening until they build another attraction between the two out the back so it's not a long path with nothing there.
  13. So Part 4 came out today of Goliath's Story. I thought I would put it all together and see if we can make any sense of it. With the opening this Saturday of the new season I think we will see this continue until then. In the Darkness of Night, A world of silence, An answer is needed, Celestial Guidance, A legend from long ago, Tells of an object hidden in time, A Myth, A folktale, A story told at bedtime. Of six points in the night sky, Marking a Colossal Beast, Waiting and Watching, Ready to be unleashed, The key to unlock this force, From where it is bound, Is a Rhythm, A noise of such magnitude, An epic sound.
  14. I think it's safe to say we won't see another coaster at MW for at least 4 years. MW have put a big coaster in on average every 4-6 years. But I doubt we will see one soon considering they will want to see a ROI for Rivals. Personally I think the next coaster will be a replacement for AA. (6 years or so) as ride manufactures give an average life span of 30 years and it's definatly not new coaster. The only chance you have off a dark ride happening will be if they decided to remove junior driving school and use that whole building or a small dark ride in the show stage. (Personally I think a new show would be better) as big Show buildings are not cheap and it has to be justified with a ROI. But I think it's safe to say the next attraction will be a family ride and not a high thrill ride.
  15. @ABYSS it seems possible they have been giving very short parts of the story so maybe we will see them coming until the opening this Saterday.
  16. Honestly well done MW! This is an amazing addition and we all hope it really pays of for you and it's great to have such a world class ride on our door step!
  17. I would say the bridge might be closed until top golf opens as that is still a construction site.
  18. @Glubbo why not? I thought they would let him post from the top of the lift hill?
  19. I think it's a good idea. When they have a 30million dollar investment they need it to pay for itself and give a ROI. So charging for the backwards seat might help.
  20. So the Goliaths Awakenig story part 1 has been posted int he lead up to its launch on the 23rd. Next weekend!
  21. I picture something either this size or smaller if it cost a few million. This is Kahuna falls from AW costs 3 million AUD.
