  1. You know we are bored when we have a few pages of talk about a car park.
  2. ^ Plus that version wins the award of the most thought out colour Shem. I feel like WNW Sydney asked if they got any random colours if they got a discount.
  3. @YLFATEEKS it's actually run by the giga council and they have a hyper coaster division which they laugh at for not making the giga record. But the chairman is apart of the Strata division but he is worried the polar division will take over his job. But of course the council is owned by Disney. ???? I think they are talking about the height of the drop being over 200 feet meaning it might go 2 meters underground.
  4. @YLFATEEKS in a post on the first page you posted this saying construction will happen in 2017 for TG.
  5. Intamin have also just finished building a coaster similar to top thrill dragster but slightly smaller in Euope themed to Ferrari's.
  6. I believe Intiman have 2 roller coaster next year. 1 in Europe and the jet rescue clone at an American SW. RMC also have their Mean Streak project. However I believe we are seeing companies using this year to save up for another Major coaster next year. (2018) as 2016 was a big year and they might be trying to save money this year. (However next year will be a big year for Europe theme parks as there are some big coasters going over there. In particularly the Intamin v Vekoma project.
  7. I think there is a phase were everyone wants to get a coaster from a certain company. Arrow phase, Intiamin phase, B&M phase, RMC phase and now Mack.
  8. So that's just under 60 meters for those who prefer meters over feet. At 196.8ft means it's just under being a hyper coaster. Hyper coaster is 200-300 feet tall. (60-90 meters)
  9. I have a drone but the range won't reach MW from Perth. - plus it's private property and it's illegal.
  10. Most of the parts of their website say that the page will be updated. This has been going on for years. It has nothing to do with changing design more updating the website.
  11. I would say most likely Australian water and leisure as they made the original and if it's going to be the same I am going to assume it's them. However it could still be pro-slides or White water west.
  12. As that area is all family rides and if they need to replace it with at least 1 family ride. However DW do have 2 good family roller coasters. (MDMC and Escape from Madagascar) Yes I know I said MDMC is a good family ride. So they defiantly need a family ride to be brought in. However if they were to build a Eurofighter or @Gazza's plan that would be AWsome. As long as they then put a family ride in around BL area to make up for the TRR. Remember a few months ago the CEO of DW was at AW. So maybe a Eurofighter is a possibility.
  13. There is one directly under Valravn. (One of Valravn's records was first roller coaster to go over a gate 3 times.) Its called the Marina gate. See image below. and while we are talking about Valravn lets take a look at these construction pictures taken by drone last year. So pretty!!!
  14. However then they spend this money now and not afterwards. MW will need to reinvest in a couple of years after this Hyper to encourage season pass members to renew and to get people to return to the park. Parks like to spread out their investments. Hence why DD opened last year and this roller coaster will open 2017/2018. Instead of them opening at the same time.
  15. Just going to say. MW are spending big $$$$ on a Hyper coaster. Do you honestly think they are going to want to spend even more money on another roller coaster straight after? I do agree with a family coaster but I believe MW's next major roller coaster will be a family one.
  16. Sorry for the double post. Happy birthday 34th birthday Adventure World!
  17. I have seen a comment on DW's Facebook page saying rides over 10 years old should be removed. Their reason was because cars only last 10 years or less and rides are more ocmplex. I did try and explain that rides have an average life recomandation from the manufacter of 30 years depending on maintenance.
  18. 100 feet is roughly 30 meters. So 300 feet is 90 meters.
  19. WNW Las Vegas has had a new slide open.
  20. If DW had of announced that they plan to open the ride in the future, I don't think the media would care. They are to busy covering the USA election to care.
  21. @Gazza I think it could defiantly be something like that. This way it is still is a thrill ride but does not have to be depending on what the rider does. So it will cater to a large market audience and that family/thrilling ride that is needed to replace BR and possibly inferno. Considering adventure World has brought from Gerstlauer before it seems like a possibility. I couldn't find the hourly capacity on this, but does anyone know what it is as AW have stated they are looking for high capacity rides? Does anyone think it could be something like Tail Spin at DW? Does anyone remember a few years ago when Mark said he was having dinner with Gerstlauer's agent?
  22. @pazzap I couldn't see the woodie price tag. I thought it would have been more than 3.5 million thats why I made that comment. * There are actually 2 traveling star flyers in Australia. 1 Travels around WA.
  23. 2 things. @Slick awesome idea. Remember Mark Shaw told us about a month ago that the CEO of DW and his family were at AW for the day. (Potentially viewing Abyss) @Ashley I posted this on page 4. "Keep in mind theme parks plan years in advanced. (5-10 year plans) MW might already be planning their next roller coaster for let's say 6 years in the future. Most likely 2017 and 2018 plans would have been finalised and contracts signed. Remember ride manufacturers want a deposit at least a year + before the ride opens. So if the rumours of a new slide tower at WWW or other changes at DW were planned for next year than they would have been signed and already had deposits paid for. Meaning it's to late to back out without losing a MAJOR deposit. Keep in mind AW paid their deposit and signed the contract for MI3 in September a year in advanced of the ride opening. MW new roller coaster would have been signed of maybe 1-2 years ago."
