  1. Reading the comments on 9 news Perth are saying rents were so expensive they should just give up. They also said AW should sell the park for the land as there is no way they could make profits. (So AW spend millions on a park for new attractions when it makes 0 profit. That makes sense) They also said AW is prime land that should be sold to developers.
  2. That does make sense. Last thing a park would want is someone having an elliptic fit in the middle of an enclosed water slide.
  3. Thats if someone reads the sign. But then its not Jamberoo's fault its the riders fault.
  4. @Jamberoo Fan I knew you were talking about external theming. I was just adding about internal theming. I never knew they confirmed inside lights that all. One problems I can think of regarding strobes would be people with epilepsy.
  5. That seems like such a great idea given how much people use their phones nowadays. I wonder if more theme parks across the world start doing this. I also think some strobe lights inside the slide to simulate lightning in some of the dark sections. Would be good.
  6. So unfortantly it seems I was right. I really did not want to be right but apparently I was. Another part of WA's theme parks now history. Hopefully a new tenet can come in and save it. What the article does not say is that the park was originally sold to a South African family (Not being racist just stating who brought it) and they never did the proper maintenance and did not maintain it will which ultimately left it to become unsafe and run down. Now its time to break the internet again. Hey @iwerks * Channel 9 news has now picked it up.
  7. Creative works posted this on their Facebook page. I am going to assume this is all the new kraken theming for the Bounty's revenge ship. Hopefully the finish it before their season relaunches in 10 days.
  8. There was 2 years difference between Rampage and Power Surge then in 2004 they added Kids Cove with the most tame kiddy coaster in the world. Not.
  9. I thought Ardent Leisure never owned it but they were contracted to operate the park.
  10. But I believe he sold it to someone else and then that guy sold it to the current owners.
  11. Remember AW do own more land next to Animals kingdom and behind their maintenance shops. They just have not developed the land yet. But if the camp ground ever goes for sale on AW's right side I think that would be good land for them to expand their carpark and make more park space. @iwerks the original owners of AW probs never knew AW would get to be size it is today. Considering past owners never spent the capital that the current owner is. So perhaps thats why they didn't look for more land originally. But once they expand the park footprint to the left side and they add a few more MI's I am going to assume their maximum capacity will increase.
  12. The Speed is $20 in PRS and the XXXL, Skywalker and a few others are $15. But also consider how much they have to pay to get the land. Python Loop would not be cheap to house their. That must have been the reason for it being sold. It went up to $15 a ride. But consider the PL is stored out the show ground for the whole year it wouldn't be cheap. A would say the ride itself would only be a couple of million considering the Freak out and Skywalker are only 1.5million according to media reports.
  13. Does anyone know what other changes were made other than the repaint?
  14. Hopefully they fix it soon. That looked very slow.
  15. Thanks Gazza. Must be blind at the moment.
  16. Does anyone know how to add rides that are missing? Adventure World has two kids rides that are missing.
  17. Hopefully they leave just enough room of that building for AW to buy for their maintenance buildings and offices. @iwerks with what your saying that would be cool. Maybe AW could then make a deal with whoever does it and they can have 2 day passes one day for AW another day for other stuff to try and make it more than just one day vacation area.
  18. I have been trying to find some information on it now. From what I could find it was manufactured by ARM manufacturing. This company has discontinued this product according to their website it is no longer listed however they say they still sell replacement parts. This company is responsible for the Quasar (Flash Dance). The Super Bowl ride is for sale it is owned by a WA ride operator and it only taken around WA.
  19. Thats going to be one massive AWsome Dark ride. Mark do you want the 300 million now?
  20. I realised that once I posted it. Their maintenance buildings and offices I believe are the buildings down the bottom. The Masters store compared to AW. The only way I think it could work would be if someone brought it and made it into multiple warehouses and sold each of individually and then AW brought one unit. But as AW is a seasonal park I am assuming they need somewhere to store a lot of stuff that gets removed IE ride parts, theming, shade sails, tubes and so on.
