  1. I remember riding when I was I think 6 I'm not sure. I couldn't remember much but the flames shooting out of the volcano was awesome. I don't think the end drop was intencely large but as all kids it scared me. I also remember watching my mum and aunty ride the Corkscrew (back when it was called that, and when the track was painted white and the train red). So it was a while ago.
  2. The only thing I found was, if you go on the fantasmicworld website and go on the "7 realms" selection. Choose your realm and there should be a link that says 'rides and attractions' that shows a couple of rides and attractions proposes for the realms. To fit ove 100 rides and attractions this thing must be huge
  3. Some people on this forum may think this as a joke, but there are a lot of people that would like a new major theme park. We are not hating your ideas (they are good ideas) we are just giving you ideas for improvement with your plans. You came to us for advise and we are trying to help. Zanstabar is right too maybe a little less education to make it a little bit more appealing to families and teens. As a teenager myself, still in school I know that there are some teens that are put off places because they are sick of learning, you very rarely see teens at a science centre unless they are doing research or are forced to like excursions. Just a theme park may appeal better to families and teens, and put a science centre next to it
  4. It very educational, maybe too educational. Don't get me wrong, I love this idea, but maybe if you make part of it like a science centre and place rides and rollercoasters themed to that theme. Like theme parks with a space world, take tomorrowland as an example, there are educational pieces around and rides themed to that theme, but it's not overly educational. One other thing. The names of the different lands are hard to pronounce, maybe change the names so children and families can understand what the land is all about.
  5. Hehe I made a good point . I'd love a good theme park to open in sydney. If there are a good selection of coasters and thrill rides not just simulators, I will deffinantly go there. We deffinantly need a theme park with up to date rollercoasters too like a B&M to thrill Aussies because we don't have Any major rollercoasters except for superman escape. This is a wonderfull idea and hope to see more plans and construction details soon.
  6. I thought when you said Theme Park there would be rollercoasters, thrill rides and water rides. But all that I could find we're a monorail and loads of simulators. It sounds more like an educational museum to me. I do like the sound of this. But the theme park community would like to see rollercoasters and rides. I'm not saying simulators are bad. But it's not a theme park without the classic rollercoasters and thrill rides.
  7. On the Seaworld website, the Seaviper is closed for maintainance. Nothing about permanant closure. I don't see why they would get rid of a classic ride from the park!!
  8. I don't get why there is so much hate for dreamworld, they are a family theme park and they have been aknowledged for that. Congratulations dreamworld!!
  9. Please don't make the same mistake as luna park and add restaurants and concert Venues. A theme park is a place filled with rides and food STALLS that's enough for a theme park.
  10. I found these photos on luna parks Facebook page: And here is a video I found on youtube. (Not my video) http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=_9KoeOgFjfA I can't wait to ride it
  11. I ment like universal studios, with large rollercoasters, awesome theming and amazing technology But yes I do know there is Movie World here
  12. Damn. Well I'd love to see rides there
  13. The aqua loop I understand has a weight limit. But as I have not been yet, I don't know if they have scales to check. The other one you posted on there was an answer saying that the WnWGC had scales there to check. So I don't see why WnWS would be much different. If your worried check online at WetnWild Sydney's website or even call up or send an email to them asking about weight limits. If you know your weight there shouldn't be a problem. Even asking a ride operator before you climb the stairs. They should help. BTW. All the other slides shouldn't be a problem for you to ride either.
  14. awesome photos, i hope it opens on boxing day, because i plan on going to LPS during the holidays... i loved the Flying saucer, im upset knowing it may be going soon. i loved that ride.. with a replacement ride, i think there could be room for... Power surge Claw (traveling Carnival Ride) AliBaba Zipper transformer Techno Jump Zamperla air strike hope they choose a good replacement ride LPS has taken the Flying Saucer off their ride list, they are yet to remove it from the digital park map

  16. What about two cars for the Tower of Terror. Both cars attached to one another but facing different directions.
  17. I haven't been to the Gold Coast for ages. But last time I went I was in primary school and I found the Tower Of Terror (not TOT2) intense. I loved the TOT. I haven't been ever since . I want to go back. Gold Coast Theme Parks have changed
  18. I'm excited to see LPS's future but you can tell they dont want to touch Maloney's Corner
