They're used on master-blasters. I think they're used to propel the water uphill.

i just don't think it's right. with guest services, I see what you mean, but wouldn't that also mean they could tell management about this? still, I guess if it weren't for them, prices would probably be higher...

Haven't actually seen them around before, but from what you said about them, I am disgusted and I think guest services should really do something about this, even if it's 'out of their control'

there was a time there where the cylcone and thunderbolt both stood - there's a big concrete patch behind the cyclone where the thunderbolt was. I think some of it was used up for avpx/zombie evilution and some of WWW but I'm pretty sure some of it still remians. you can see the concrete patch in this photo - there's a few cars there

And it's not like they don't have room - they still have space where the thunderbolt used to be

yes, the restraints are really annoying as well they could use the lapbars like they have on the Green Lantern Coaster, those are really safe and still comfortable i read about how they used to have things under the queue floor that made it vibrate it's quite popular, but they need to give it a big revamp

Well theme parks have done that before... But really, the Super 8 is way to small for an escalator... maybe the Mach 5 though...

Hey, I was doing a bit of reading and I saw that a few years ago White Water World were planning on opening a Tornado Tantrum Alley and a Mammoth water slide. I also read it was put on hold because of the GFC, but I haven't heard much more about it. Does anybody know what happened to this plan and if they scrapped it???

That's actually quite true. It is getting quite old though - last time I went, the mats were covered in mold. But yeah a master blaster would be good. Or even better, a hydroelectric mammoth, but that would take up a bit of room and cost a lot.

Personally, I think the super 8 aqua racer's getting a bit old. They should replace it with something a bit more modern... Like a Proslide Kraken Racer - that keeps the mat racer element and it's not like the BRO at White Water World. It also brings back a bit of the twister... http://www.proslide.com/ride/krakenracer/

I guess they could use the overflow carpark - it's quite large and it's rarely used. The only problem is it's a bit out of the way That is actually stupid. Currimbin Wildlife Sancturay isn't that good and Dreamworld is better than Movieworld and Seaworld
